In Star Allies VT mind controls only before Kirby steps in. And VT cannot mind-control anything. I doubt if VT can mind hax Yami.

Well it is a fallacy to both say that he can "control anything" and to say that it simply can't affect Yami just like that. Also rounds aren't a thing anymore. Also.. Is restricting a power even legal?

Also, i'm pretty sure that Void AP and durability is way stronger than Yami.

Void Termina does likely have tha Ap and Durability advantage, Yami starts with power absorbtion/ power null if it helps.

it's not, you can't restrict a power, The hero is an exeption to the rule, it's literally weaponized PIS so it was decided that it can be restricted
