A question about The Gatherers type 7 immortality.

This is about the claim that the Grunts and Brutes can survive even with their limbs gone.

Isn't it Weyer's tonic that allowed Agrippa to get his head cut off and still live?

That would be the Type 2 Immortality, but isn't the tonic made with infusion Vitae, which is what's used to make Gatherers?

Even then they suffer no adverse effects from having open wounds all over the body and in the case of Brutes losing entire limbs, but I can change the justification if there wasn't Vitae involved with Agrippa's head.

I don't think there was vitae involved in Agrippa's head. There is a Grunt that is found cut up and completely dismembered and dead in the sewer. It might have been the shadow of course.

Huh. In that case, Type 2 might not be that well justified.

They still seem to function fine despite what look like major injuries all over the body, but it's definitly not to the extent of Agrippa.
