A question about calculations

Hello, I have some questions about converting energy units.

Is it possible to convert units like watt or newtons to joules? I have seen some explanations of how these units relate to each other, but I couldn't understand how to do a conversion from one to another or if it is possible.

By the way, if someone knows how to convert, could you tell me the power of this specific feat? Thanks!

(Sorry if there are any English mistakes, I used Google translate to help me with this)

Yes, we do use watts for process such as change and temperature and electricity feats. Converting Newtons of Joules is possible, but there are cases where it can potentially result in calc stacking; usually people are okay with using newtons and distance to get Joules, but using joules and dividing it be distance to get newtons of force and attempting them to apply to character lifting strengths is the part people can get uneasy about.

Thanks for the answer

if I understand correctly, to convert newtons to joules you need to multiply the force in newtons of a body by the distance it traversed?

And as for watts they can only be converted in cases of electricity/temperature change feats, could that apply for this feat?

Watts can apply to a lot of different feats; that also includes, luminosity feats over time, plasma generation feats, and laser attacks/feats. Though one rule is that watts are used for process that take longer than a second, but we use joules if it's shorter than a second. More so for the sake of lowballing if anything.

Though, I'd say it's fairly fine for a feat like that yeah.

In that case does some specific formula have to be used to estimate the energy of the iron man laser?

If you have a specific page on the wiki with information of this type, could you send it to me as well?
