A change in the wiki security settings

How long? Also, not letting literally anyone else enjoy and edit the wiki is semi-selfish. It shouldn't be a secret treehouse. Should I message fandom about this chat idea?

Yes, as I mentioned, I have already sent a message to Bert Hall about this, but he can take quite a while to reply at times, so I cannot promise when this restriction will be lifted.

If it's a short term rule, then the trolls/whatever will come back once it is lifted.

If it's a long term rule, the wiki is going to die gradually.

All it does is give us some breathing time. I think fandom should take its measures against the trolls without enforcing such rules. Or I guess I am failing to understand the line of thought behind this rule.

Anyway, let's wait and see what Bert Hall has to say.
