8-B Tier Tournament Recruitment

As a side note, Doomguy is missing a fair share of his abilities from what I can tell, so...

So, if it goes to inconclusive I've listed a few ideas:

  • Rematch with prior knowledge
  • Rematch with prep
  • Coin flip
  • Next vote wins
 
I've got some more ideas.

Rematch without bloodlust.

Rematch without speed equalized.

Shuffle the rest of the brackets.

imo all of these should probably be done before coin flip.
 
I think speed un-equalised is gonna be pretty much auto win in most scenarios.
 
Yeah but at least it's based on a character's abilities rather than a literal coin flip.

Adding prior knowledge/prep should definitely be done before speed unequal.
 
I'm gonna go with the following.

If incon, rematch in this order. If one fails, default to the next.

  • With prior knowledge
  • With prep time AND prior knowledge
  • Rematch with no victorylust/bloodlust
  • Speed unequalized
Definitely don't wanna do coin flip or next vote wins.
 
@Standuser We already got our picks and are in the third fight boyo.
 
So in preparation, is it still only tech that's 8-B, or is it up whatever they can get?
 
In the hopefully nonexistant event that we HAVE to come to prep time, whatever makes it reasonable but not a stomp. Even if it is like a tier upgrade I guess it's fine (so long as it isn't like MCB+ or above), we'll say. An 8-B has a, depending on their abilities, somewhat decent chance of dealing with such a tier shift.
 
Alright. No High 6-B battleships then, lol.
 
On Ryder's variable prep tier, I guess the Apex squads are 8-B then scaling to Ryder.

I'll feel sorry for whoever has to fight half a dozen squads of special op soldiers.

If we assume a minimum of 3 per squad (All that's shown) that's 18 veteran spec ops soldiers with each squad having a battle tank.
