7-C Tiersetter Tourney

Eh, sounds like the passive side effects take a while, at least.
They do

Warpstone doesn't do bad things to people until like several minutes has passed and you're near a lot of it. Nukes do instant kill people without resistance but Ikit only has one of those at any given time and generally doesn't slam a single target with them.
But the danmaku stuff won't be as prevalent would it?
You then have to get close. And walk on Warpstone. Touching Warpstone accelerates things. So does getting slammed directly in the face by magic or dropping a nuke.

So, the gist of it is to take out the skaven, quickly.

Yep!

Unfortunately short range Ali... I mean he's gonna die trying to get close. Ya need range or the mobility to get in close before Ikit's army shreds you, and Ali has neither.

Assuming the final slots would still be open by due date, which of the backup submissions are more likely to fill the positions?

Ikit Claw and Smaug, since they're from different verses from existing submissions. Ikit Claw has slight priority, since DMUA also seemed a bit hyped to have him in.

Over discord? Cause I couldn't tell where lol

Ikit be playing an RTS while every other contestant is playing tekken.

(For reference this utterly iconic video is the reason why I specifically wanted Ikit in, even if I played Warhammer too early to like rats as much as I do)

You got any opinion on whether they should have Turbo Trainers or not?
I really don’t think it changes anything, but that sounds fine. Just say they have access to optional equipment. (Also make sure to elaborate that they have wonderwing restricted.)

What's wonderwing? I don't see that mentioned on the profile.

Yeah that one does sound pretty funny conceptually.

I'm also liking the sound of Smaug vs Streaky.

@DaReaperMan Alright, looking at the swap from Statesman to Lord Recluse
  • Are we ignoring prep?
  • How bad is the neurotoxin/poison?
  • How good is the teleportation?
  • Are there any notable things he can summon?
  • How good is the invisibility?

If we weren't Lord Recluse would have his own army and would be Very High Hax, so yes.
  • How bad is the neurotoxin/poison?
Not very, it's not lethal, if that's what you're asking. Unless you like chug the shit but then it just mutates you.
  • How good is the teleportation?
Takes a little while, but generally Lord Recluse will only use it if the opponent is being that much of a pain.
  • Are there any notable things he can summon?
Not really, most of them vary from somewhere in tier 9 to 8-C, some mindhax stuff, but he rarely Summons Fortuanas or Widows in general. I guess if your resistance to heat blows dogshit giant robot spiders are a problem.
  • How good is the invisibility?
OOC, but pretty good.

Works for me. Sounds like he has a solid chance of getting hit enough from out of range despite teleportation/invis.

I'll chuck the new match up in a minute.

EDIT: It's here.

Blade speed calc has been accepted, making a simple crt soon. Blud's overall speed is now high Hypersonic through and through, backup or otherwise.
Made a Geats crt too a few hours back too.
Just to notify.

The backup replacing Master Yi will be Hot Dog, you can see his match with Lord Recluse here.

Ima sleep, I'll sort out any further in-tier issues in the morning, and probably post a second match since I'll be busy later that day.

I get a feeling people arguing their character out of tier mid-match is going to become a pattern here lol
At least I know for a fact Ikit qualifies, cause the gal just like... immediately snipes him before he can do anything and only risks getting ****** by a Ratling gun just as fast.

So I have a guaranteed horse in this race, even if that horse is very unique for a tournament.
