As we can see here, it was proved that Orphan of Kos' life was somehow connected to the moon that exists within the Hunter's Nightmare.
Everyone seems to agree that what we're seeing here is a moon and not the sun, because the sun is clearly shining in the background. But everyone seems to forget that the Fishing Hamlet that we're seeing is inside the Hunter's Nightmare, a pocket dimension created by Kos.
It's safe to assume that while the player is in Hunter's Nightmare / Fishing Hamlet, he's in a planet that's orbiting a sun, and all of that was created by Kos.
So... 4-B Bloodborne?
