2B and YorHa changes Round 2

2B and 9S literally tried to detonate their own boxes to kill the infected androids around them as well as the Engels. And we know the Engels are around the level of 2B and 9S
In the instance with A2 surviving it, it was only one black box detonating. With 2B and 9S, black box reaction was using 2 of them, the yield of that destruction is naturally greater than with one, so it destroying the Engels and other andorids worked because 2 was being used to amplify the power

Even then, the scaling shouldn't be so drastically to bump it down below mountain, that's extremely silly. Even if we went by what you said, she should scale to at the absolute least 90% of the full Yield
We simply have no idea how far she was. It's that simple. Until we can find the distance between them, we can't calc the result.

We take accuracy over assumptions.

Best we wait for the manga for visual representation, or at least I'll try to find the stageplay and see if there is actual visual representation there.

Tanaka Reina is 5 ft tall or 1.53 m in height. The only shot we have is of her leaning over so we can't use body height but we can use legs.

Average female leg to height ratio is 0.529

0.529*1.53 = 0.80937 m

Her is leg is 232 px long. She is 441 px away from No 2.
(0.80937/232) = x/441

441 * (0.80937/232) = x = 1.53850073276 m away

The top and bottom estimates are 6000000 kt and 70000000 kt. Average is 38000000 kt

(0.68)*(6000000)/(4pi((1.53850073276)^2))/2 = 68584.3281319 kilotons or 68584328.1319 or 6.9E7 tonnes (City+)

(0.68)*(38000000)/(4pi((1.53850073276)^2))/2 = 434367.411502 kilotons or 434367411.502 or 4.3E8 tonnes (Mountain)

(0.68)*(70000000)/(4pi((1.53850073276)^2))/2 = 800150.494872 kilotons or 800150494.872 or 8E8 tonnes (Mountain+)

Hm. Not bad

Could you try using canon heights? In the manga, A4 is depicted as around the same height as A2, who's 1.68m

0.529*1.68 = 0.88872 m

Her is leg is 232 px long. She is 441 px away from No 2.
(0.88872/232) = x/441

441 * (0.88872/232) = x = 1.68933413793 m away

The top and bottom estimates are 6000000 kt and 70000000 kt. Average is 38000000 kt

(0.68)*(6000000)/(4pi((1.68933413793)^2))/2 = 56883.8767448 kilotons or 56883876.7448 or 5.7E7 tonnes (City+)

(0.68)*(38000000)/(4pi((1.68933413793)^2))/2 = 360264.552717 kilotons or 360264552.717 or 3.6E8 tonnes (Mountain)

(0.68)*(70000000)/(4pi((1.68933413793)^2))/2 = 663645.228689 kilotons or 663645228.689 or 6.6E8 tonnes (Mountain+)

Huh. So not that much of a difference. I prefer using canon heights for this.

Cool. I'll whip up some calculations and get them approved.

The only other thing I can think of...I don't want to downgrade her but that flight unit speed doesn't sit right with me. Too many fade to white transitions that may or may not indicate time passing. Especially since the flight down covered the time of 2B clearning the resistance camp and the boku-shi boss. I don't know. What do you guys think?

Calcs have been approved. Where do you think this should go? Durability and attack potency but keep striking strength at city class? Or does striking strength get upgraded as well? Also, which level should we use? I believe Mountain is best since the bottom skirts the edge of Mountain lvl and the top also skirts mountain lvl

This your calc?

Also I didn't realize your first calc is split up like that. First off the mid end is a no go there, you have two values 6000000 KT and 70000000 KT. You probably need a calc group member to tell you what end is correct from that first calc. When they just say the calc is fine and don't explain what end is better, like why? We can't use both.

But if we get an answer for the first calc, than obviously the second calc will use that answer. Either 6 or 7. But yes this would scale to their striking strength, they can harm each other with their physical attacks. Any physical attack is striking strength.

However the low-end is usually the safest bet, but I also have no idea on how the first calc works so I'm not even going to try to give any opinions on it.

I've asked but isn't this something to be asked amongst the lore ppl?

The low end of the calc is to account for the EMP since the enemies are machines and traditionally machines are vulnerable to EMP.

The high end was a low estimate of if it wasn't the EMP that killed them since not only do the androids not use EMP weapons on the machines we also see machines use EMP's in the presence of each other and not care.

At least City level+, possibly or likely Mountain level+.

That'd work for me, since either end is fine by me.

Alright, I've made changes to my sandbox. The changes are kept listed

The final question is do you guys think the flight unit speed should be recalculated? That thing never sat right with me. Too many fade to whites that indicated a passage of time and we don't know if 9S was flying parallel or angled to the ground so air combat could be part of the travel time.
