Anyways, to get this to a decision, can we generally agree that, as the D&D profiles are now, the Imp loses?
I'm perfectly ok with remaking this match once the 9-B D&D characters were updated to reflect their full power, but for now I just see Imp get concept haxed.
I mean sure, but it ain't happening any time soon lol
 
I came back to the thread just to neuter the misconceptions spread in this particular part of the abyss.

Dice rolls aren't canon. They are in fact, specifically non-canon. Elminster himself, who knows about the existence of Dungeons and Dragons in "the real world" (D&D's earth) says that's not how it works. It's just an abstraction turned game mechanic meant to allow luck to come into it. RNG for a tabletop, common concept, lads.

That is all. Continue with your arguing if you like.
