I mean, skill doesn't really matter too much against an animal, their approach is really simple but their different body proportions make it impossible to do any sort of grappling. Likewise, experience doesn't really translate to it

Yeah, I did work on that profile some myself so I know a decent amount about Strelok, though not with his skills but killing a chimp should be childs play for just how many mutants this guy has faced its going to be like running into something actually normal for once and thus far easier then fighting say a mutant dog or human thing

Yeah, as stated above Strelok experienced many monsters/mutants, chimp wouldn't be exactly something new.
