(1-1-2) The Queen of Unlife vs The Spider Godess

Future Vision, Thought Acceleration and Probability Compensation are passively activated, as is her fear aura.
Next would be an appraisal to know basically everything about the opponent.

After that just what is most appropiate. Stat boosts are usual, as is teleportation. Sloth should usually be activated as well, as are her dragon barriers.

For offense I would say she usually starts with barrages of the more normal magic together with her Evil Eyes.

In close combat using her scythe with decay attack seems to be her recent standard.

I have not read the spider isekai almost at all but her profile says that her immortality is relaint on the soul, I don't know if the passive soul asborption might work or not since it is technically not the same as soul desctruction.

Is that your vote by the way or are you not voting yet?

Are you talking about Lain's soul absorption? That would only activate if Lain actually kills Kumoko

Im gonna say incon for now

I think Lain has the bigger stamina/mana reserve with being superior to other sages that kept up AoE barriers 24/7 for close to two weeks now? might have to double chek. but Kumoko's profile mentions that via replenishing energy through other clones she can fight up to a month.

Yeah. Since her Immortality seems to be soul transfer based if one of her bodies is destroyed.

If this is god version her standard tactic is different.

God versions standard tactic against anyone relevant would be to shut herself into a pocket dimension, prevent space magic to prevent anyone or anything from following her and use her 10k+ clones to fight them per proxy.

That with a hint of converting the space around the opponent into her zone in order to get a potent powernull going.

The opponent either dies or is eventually sucked dry of energy so that it can't fight anymore.

Shiro is basically the goddess of Attrition.

A month is a lower end and that is without the clones replenishing energy. If she can power drain the enemy and/or have her clones eat the only practical limit on her stamina is a mental one.

The nature of Sages passively overwrite the laws of space around them to supress abnormalities, so that would probably mess with her first moves. Lain also produces clones of her own that clone themselves and those clones clone themselves again... ect since she clones herself via her sheer Regenerationn abilities.

She also has the ability to create city wide barriers where effects of abilities get negated in response to her energy drain or can simply become reistant to the abiliies.

I see, then she probably has the edge over her avatars.

Eh, wouldn't be so sure of that. Shiro could manipulate space within Gyurie's Zone, despite the fact that he controls the laws there. Magecraft in general is not generally bound to the laws.

Shiro can also produce clones at an exponential rate, so... not really a big deal.

Shiro can absorb power nulling barriers for energy.

Its more like they manipulate space to be neutral rather than set laws so it cannot be modified. Im not familar with Gyurie either but if the effect is not constant and rather he controls the laws within his zone with a thought or anything then its different too.

I see.

Does she have a responde to Lain's sage protection? Like Sion (Instant Death) is resistant to most supernatural influences unless she allows it because of her Sage protection status, the ability was classified as power null in the profile if you are wondering.

Right, it probaly still comes down to hax due to immortalities and regen.

Kumoko still has a spot as strongest 7-A to defend in her weaker key

I think Lain has the stamina advatage now, and her immortalities are not as good cuz her eggs have to be intact instead of clones but it should not change much yeh.

Limited exclusively by her SP, which she can restore via Evil Eye of Grudge absorbing it from the opponent. (or by eating)

Sloth decreases the opponents stamina in this key.

This probably becomes and Ariel vs Kumoko situation. Unless maybe Lain is stupid enough to try particular kinds of soul/mind stuff on Kumoko.

What counts as those peculiar kind? Her soul absroption thing is passive and her soul control/charm status effect is activated with a glance, so it depends on what it is.

Can kumoko die of old age in this key?
No.

Anything that can be traced back basically.

To explain, in the system there is a skill called "Kin Domination" with the effect of controlling ones own children. Kumoko's Mother didn't really use that skill on her, but just by being active it created a sort of connection that Kumoko could use to send her parallel minds to her Mother.

Said parallel minds then devoured her Mothers soul. One of them went further and jumped from Kumoko's Mother to Kumoko's Grandmother, since she also had a connection to her mother via Kin Domination.

So if a Lain connects to Kumoko, Kumoko can send her parallel minds to the clone and from the clone they should probably be able to skip to the original by tracing through the link between the clone and the original.

From what I read so far, Lain seems to have some kind of clones, with the True Form hidden? That wouldn't be a problem if she didn't cast mind/soul manip on sight. Kumoko is immune and by creating this "link" she can devour the opponents soul and make it her own, taking over their abilities and such. She also knows where the real one is located via this Link. Does Lain have potent soul manip resistance? Because Kumoko can destroy and devour souls. If cornered, she can cast Abyss Magic which deconstructs the soul bypassing resistances.

Voting Kumoko. Seems to have the better stalling down, along with chilling in another dimension.
That was another key, she does not have that in this key and Lain also has the same dimension thing like Kumoko's stronger key,

People with the system have absolutley massive souls in weight nad size, the passive soul suck from characters on the levels 50s to 80s could barely absorb a a tiny faction of the soul of a level 10,000 and Lain >>> that Character. To even level up once on the starting levels they have to absorb a multitude of souls and it just gets worse from there as it kind of becomes ever increasing due to higher level monsters also having the same soul thing.

Beyond that she can sever that chain reaction due to her clones being different existences from herself, that was supposed to deal with Yogiri's instant death so it would not kill her by tracing back her existence in a chain reacting, but instant death was too broken and had multiversal range. Does the soul thing even have the ability to reach across dimensions?

Lain also has her Sage passive Power Null effect on herself so that skills do not work when used on her.

Lain's soul resistance scales in the thousands iirc

Minimum tens of thousands assuming that 1 soul = 1 level but it is probably on the hundreds of thousands if not millions since 1 level = multiple souls of monsters roughly on the same level which have the same soul thing.

Kumoko's soul manip was able to affect Ariel and kill Mother, so it shouldn't be a problem. The magnitude of the soul is also connected to ones power in Kumo Desu Ga (not Lvl, but stats and skills). Assuming that LVL 10000 has resistance in the thousands, then assuming Mother's soul had stats that totalled more than 100k (Ariel surpassed 450k) while a normal person has 5, it shouldn't matter)

Do they absorb the entirety of an opponent's soul, or a fraction of it?

Power Null doesn't really work on Kumoko, she resisted Power null, magic null, skill sealing and so on.

Correction, Mother has around 150k stats while Ariel had 450k. A normal human has 5 average (a child on KDG world is as strong as an adult on Earth) with no skills. And both Mother and Ariel have 2-3 pages of skills.
