Seeing as how my last thread wasn't a properly debated one I figured why not go for another.
Speed is equalised. Battle takes place in a hanger bay of a star destroyer. Both start 6 metres away with no prep time. 7-C versions are being used. Raiden has HF Blade, Ripper mode, Blade mode and...
So my first match up was a bust, but this one might be better.
(MGS4) Raiden vs Base Raven.
Raiden does not have his Stealth Camo, only his HF Blade and Knives.
Speed is Equalized, who wins?
Rave: Weekly, Dragoo Faust, RebubleUselet, Gargoyle One (4)
Raide: (0)
Raiden
Powers and Stats
Tier: At least 8-B
Name: Raiden (codename), his real name is Jack (also nicknamed "Jack the Ripper" and "White Devil" on various occasions)
Origin: Metal Gear
Gender: Male
Age: In his 30s
Classification: Human Cyborg, Rehabilitated Family Man, Freelancing Agent...
No! Not this Raide , this one.
As a celebration for the new Danganronpa characters installed in this wiki, i decided to make a battle between my second favourite character in Danganronpa vs my most favourite character in Metal Gear.
Ripper Mode Raiden.
Both in Character.
Standard Battle...
Hisoka versus Raiden (Metal Gear). Speed equalized.
Raiden is on Jack The Ripper mode, but capable of strategizing perfectly and has all of his MGR game perks, being in the best of all of his abilities, having infinite RC Cells and anything he can get from this game. Hisoka is the way he is in...
Need more Raiden matches dammit
Base Teen Naruto Uzumaki (Part II) vs Raiden (Metal Gear) (7-C versions)
Win via KO, incapacitation, or death. Will equalize speed if necessary
Now that they're on a seemingly more even playing field, hopefully this can reach a conclusion.
Raiden (Metal Gear) vs Raiden (Mortal Kombat) (Low 7-C versions)
Win via KO, incapacitation, or death. SPEED EQUALIZED
Shagohod is currently listed as City Block level, with matching durability. at about 2:26 of this video of the fight, Volgin punches right through its armor, and not at any spot where said armor is considered weak, iirc. If not simply tossed to the curb as an inconsistency/outlier, this would...
Why not ?
Vergil is High 7-C and Raiden is 7-C, but he can bybass durability and he's faster
- Both in-character
- Speed it's not equaized
- SBA
- DMC3 Vergil and MGRR Raiden
Raiden:
Vergil:
Inconclusive:
I can tell there is a theme for this match, but I don't know what it is
Okay, let's get one thing out of the way first. I'm aware of that Sayaka likely one-shots, which is why speed is not equalized.
And if it wasn't obvious, 7-C versions are used.
EDIT: Apparently Sayaka doesn't one-shot, so...
Bobert got smacked with a downgrade, RIP. IDK Raiden but it seemed sorta thematic
Speed Equalized
Low 7-C versions used and Ripper Mode is restricted.
Who wins?
Raiden (Metal Gear): 0
Bobert: 0
Both in character Both in 8-B forms
Winner via Death or Incapacitation
Standard battle assumptions
Ripper mode restricted
fight takes place in an open field
1.) This is clone wars Asajj
2.) Mind Hax is prohibited
3.) Let this battle commence
4.) Speed equilized
5.) Epic Battle Music for a sword fight (I know I know but hey the first part is lowkey badass)
Just a small, simple, ability addition
Limited Matter Manipulation (via the HF Blades weakening molecular bonds to slice through objects and negate durability)
So, I noticed this was done before, but I don't know if Raiden had his sub-rel speed back then. Even so, whatever, just curious. Pretty sure 2B wins, but wanted other's thoughts.
Both go into battle having basic info on one another from a previous skirmish. Going in with standard equipment...
Rebuilt Custom Body Raide
Clare (With Teresa's Power)
Speed equalised (speed boosts like Blade Mode and Quicksword are allowed)
Ripper Mode allowed, and unlimited
Minor issue, and one that's more just a slight peeve of mine, but it always gets very tedious that the categories are all things like "Tier 8" and "Tier 7", but nothing more specific like "Tier 7-B" or "Tier 8-A", which makes it harder to come up with good matchups.
I know, Excelsus weighs around 20,000+ tons, but think about it: He was lifting it from far off center with its building-sized sword, so the lever effect must've made the force of the weight much heavier than it originally was.
So, how many tons did Raiden have to lift when he suplexed Metal...
Name a character who can defeat every character listed below in eather a gauntlet style or 4 vs 1 fight.
Rules: All fights end in KO or death. Speed equalized. You must clarify if you think your character could beat them gauntlet style or 4 vs 1. Your character cannot be higher than Low 7-C...
So, a friend of mine went through the game and he gave me this:
http://www.narutoforums.com/xfa-blog-entry/armstrong-punches-earth-calculation.33747/
So, according to this thread, Armstrong was capable of erupting a Pakistanian magma chamber nearly instantly. This means that Armstrong, and in...
I saw that the last revision did not fixed them, but only raised more confusions on the profiles like Raide is at least Small Town level for matching the EXCELSIUS, who is only Small Town level and cutting through Armstrong hardened body, which is listed as Town level, Armstrong reasoning for...
Just want to preface this with I haven't played any Metal Gear games. This is something I heard from Death Battle which I know isn't a reputable source. But at some point they said Raiden was able to detect opponent's weaknesses via his scanner/sensors. Is this accurate? If so shouldn't he have...
So I just checked some gameplay, and Ripper Mode (Raiden's version of a Berserk Mode) doesn't seem to harm him at all. Thus, Raiden's durability should be upgraded accordingly. In addition, anyone capable of harming him without durability negation (such as Armstrong) should be upgraded to Town level
In response to a suspicious Cyborg rampaging through Tokyo, The CCG dispatches their top agent to deal with the problem.
Standard Battle Conditions apply
MGS4 Raiden vs Arima
Speed is equalized
Victory by death
Round 1: Normal Raiden
Round 2: Mariachi Costume
Arima: 1 (Muhammedmco)...
