    This is a shitass question to ask.

    Most smurf-hax for D&D is player-side. The Grell technically have it in the form of their Alchemy, but mostly they use it to create their weaponry, which is only like 9-A to 8-C (although this weapon forging process does involve bending 1-A laws!)

    There's also the obvious ones, like Father Llymic shifting the Far Realm and the Material Plane to be spatially coterminous.

    Yeah, that's a shitass reason. You're actively pursuing 1-A smurf matches, which is pretty much as far down the Decrepit Pipeline as you can get, on here.

    Most of the 1-A smurf shit is with the overpowered guys. If we had adventurer pages, you could argue they have these spells that are 1-A without the more mechanically busted spells, but we don't. Make of it what you want.

    Finally decided to give BG3 a chance. I think the issue is that my boomer brain is trying to compare it to the last two games, when it's clearly trying to be different. I was never part of a tabletop session in my life, but from what I'm seeing BG3 wants to play out as a proper D&D campaign, instead of a standalone story that just so happens to be set in the D&D universe like the first two games. Really ought to try suspending my disbelief better.
