The darkness causes time around to slow down and eventually stop, that's what I'm trying to say.
If he stop the sound of the cartoon, his sound would also be muted because he's in that cartoon as well. Selective Time Stop is the most logical for this.

Do you even know what I'm talking about? The cartoons are considered fiction in the verse, with the actual events contradicting them in the story. Like its verbatim shown and stated the Beginner Bible stories are just normal cartoons corrupted by Alternates.
