I'm concerned about this calc. I think mach 3 is a very bad assumption, as an abrasive water jet is a small-scale precision cutter, not a wide and long-range hose of water. On top of that, it seems wrong to treat the spear as moving at that speed; visually and logically it should be slower than the jet that's pushing it.
According to this blog, water cannons fire at a speed of 10-17 m/s. I could try to incorporate the slower speed of the slower speed of the spear, if that effort seems worthwhile. But I'd expect that it wouldn't get a result too much higher than 500 m/s, which may not be worth it if Garou has better feats.
What do you reckon we should do?

Hey what formula did you use to find the yield of the explosion in your calc of Atomic Samurai's beam split? Using the deflagration calc formula (assuming its a fiery explosion), I did (volume of a sphere with 1233 radius= 7.85*10^9 m3) * 1.311 *13062500, I got a 1.36491826×10^17 joule result, or a 32.6 megaton result for the explosion. 326 megatons if you wanna multiply by ten, which I wouldn't do since the beam was split into larger and smaller sections and we don't know if we're seeing a little beam fragment or a big beam fragment explode. -
