The moment the barrier touches the TSO, that specific section of Haki ceases to exist. Since the barrier is erased upon contact, there is no solid surface for the swat to land on. The orb would pass through the hole it just created in the Haki and continue toward Luffy.

Even if it could, they'd still be swatted away due to the force being applied to them. Erasing matter is not the same as erasing force or KE.

Any attempt to apply force to a TSO requires interaction, and that interaction is erased at the point of contact—preventing force transfer entirely. Doesn’t matter if it’s force or energy, if it touches TSO they get EE

The force here is gotten through momentum transfer, which would occur if haki emission hits the orb, but that isn’t what’s happening here at all.
The TSOs erases everything that comes into contact with it, so the energy never collides in the first place. There is no interaction surface where momentum can be transferred either. No interaction, no momentum transfer.

I have said time and time again, nard can spam clones from a TSO sphere and wait until Luffy runs out of time, or just wait for Luffy to try and eat him and get EE

It’s now 36 for Luffy to 40 for Naruto… and it’s been over 24 hours since an above 3 point lead for Naruto and it hasn’t been broken in these 24 hours.

I don’t think anyone's upset that you think it's a popularity contest - every big verse match up is often affected by the popularity of the verse and I think everyone knows that.
What people got annoyed by is the hypocrisy. Luffy was winning by large amounts at least twice purely off of popularity, and by a big amount too, and you weren't screaming popularity contest then. Only suddenly when Naruto is winning it became a popularity contest.
Me winning = great and fair!

Ugh!!!!! Finally done with 34 pages worth of madness, but I might be even more insane cus I expected a NARUTO VS LUFFY thread to be not as long as this. Anyways I'm voting Naruto for the reasons stated by alternative, net and samplex basically. Naruto matches the accelerated development with sage chakra amps from clones, shunshin and boil and release, the explanation for chakra and haki being equalized has always been something I'd gone by even before this thread, Luffy while having future sight has never fought a 1000+ clones with stats rel to him before, I think saying "Naruto doing x or y isn't consistent in portrayal" is somewhat downplaying for me it's a freaking hypothetical after all.
