Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

Domains are based on oneself and the interpretation of their technique, so they wouldn't necessarily have the exact same domain
That’s true at a certain point. Unlimited Void is just a DE that brings the inside of the Limitless Cursed Technique. Limitless users should have a similar Domain Expansion regardless of their innate Domain.

Yuji getting past passive Infinity?
he has kusakabe's simple domain + cleave and dismantle its likely that he could exchange the automatic attack of using a sword for using a CT/fists which will not only lower the low output infinity (which sukuna points out simple domains can do by lowering the output of a person as a whole and not allowing them to charge up CE for CTs quite as well) but flatout decimate teen gojo.

In all fairness, Toji does claim that he can't just nonchalantly pull up on Gojo and waited for him to be worn down, implying that he's a huge challenge otherwise. And even after he'd been worn down, he was capable of intercepting him. Child Gojo was able to detect Toji while Teen Gojo with dulled senses couldn't properly do it. So it stands that he's certainly capable of beating Toji

Yuta, I understand. But how are Maki and Yuji getting past passive Infinity?
Maki isn't. Yuji isn't either even with SD, when the attempt to null or weaken his infinity would simply just have gojo putting more output into his infinity. See Gojo vs Disaster curses using DA combo

Why we acting like his future students doing shit to pre rct gojo still. The only ones who could reliably give trouble here is Yuta and that's only because of his domain. That's it.
There's a reason as to why Toji had to fight a Hyper fatigued gojo, who the students are still relative to more or less. The same toji stated to be equal to that Hyper fatigued gojo in a later statement past HI arc.
If we put rct gojo then he's badly blitzing them 🗿

Where was this exactly?
In the volume summary where Toji gets resurrected.

Stated to be on par with the gojo in the past that he had fought. It doesn't mean rct gojo since he got utterly stomped, but pre rct gojo in context. Which would naturally be that Hyper fatigued gojo.

this is mistranslated as it's actually better for Gojo than you'd assume, the raws state "苦しめた" which isn't to challenge or rival someone, but to simply give someone trouble, to torment, to cause pain to.

If you compare the Zenin clan massacre to the Toji Vs Gojo and Geto fight, they both did way better than any of them. I fully believe Yuji in Shibuya Arc is hitting harder than both of them, but saying they lose to fodder Maki is madness.
Toji was playing around with Geto, basically. Bro shot at him with a glock

As for Gojo, he admits he’s rusty while fighting him, and he’s also clearly playing around given how he did Geto

Oh damn lmfao
Yikes, I feel even worse for the students now 😭 no wonder Yuta and Hakari thought gojo with output worse than teen rct gojo (one has proper output the other does not at all) with a Sukuna relative to that gojo still wasn't weakened enough for these two to join in - as in gojo and Sukuna still above these two.
Teen Gojo physical stats not from feats but a single statement 🗿
Teen pre rct gojo can downscale from toji no CE reinforcement because his head didn't burst open nor did his brain explode from Toji's full strength stab 👽😼 (anime makes it even better)
he said he fully focused on rct so he didn't have CE reinforcement when taking that last hit 👺
Trust

No evidence that Toji was "playing around" - he got the gun out whilst demonstrating the weakness of HR being that he requires cursed tools as otherwise he's stuck with such mediocre weaponry.

He doesn't say this, after he 'kills' Gojo he says that his killing instinct must've returned - which is to say he's saying his showing against Gojo proves to himself that he's not rusty. Otherwise you'd be assuming he was rusty against Gojo but then in 0.1 seconds after killing him he spontaneously and suddenly became not rusty, which is absurd.

Toji literally could’ve blitzed and gone to punch Geto in the time he fired 3 bullets

Gojo’s reaction feats to Toji wouldn’t even be hypothetically impressive, since they’d be from meters away

Less absurd than scaling Teen Gojo, who has no physical feats or stat scaling and is relative to Geto who got shat on by Toji to Toji physically and in terms of combat speed

Teen Geto is a blue attack merchant, and that’s all we know about him. Also he’s a grade 1 sorcerer too, but that bar isn’t that high, and he’d lose to someone like Adult Mei Mei

Effort post time, here's the scaling for pre-RCT Gojo (and by extension teenage Geto).

Firstly, teenage Gojo and Geto are widely regarded as the strongest sorcerers of this era. Tengen maintaining their sense of identity is considered vital for jujutsu society to function along with the fact that Tengen evolving is considered a humanity-threatening, worst-case scenario, with the people who are hunting down Amanai are such strong sorcerers that they can stand against jujutsu highs forces despite Gojo's strength being "famous" and well known, and so it comes to no surprise that we find out Gojo and Geto were specifically chosen for this mission due to them being "the strongest" (meaning it's a widely agreed upon fact, so much so that even children such as Naoya were aware of Gojo's overwhelming power). This strength is also known to Gojo and Geto and is a significant enough gap that they're confident that they could betray and fight off jujutsu society for fun because of how much stronger they are to everyone around them. This is also supported by the editor's comments labelling them the strongest duo, and with the volume summary of the arc detailing Toji's most impressive feat as being able to trouble Gojo in battle (苦しめた) despite Toji being widely known as a force that can solo the entire zenin clan on a whim. This is substantial as Naobito was likely the head the Zen'in clan at this time, with Naobito also implying his body grows weaker with age and still being faster than curse womb Naoya at age 71, who was reaching supersonic speeds. Even if you want to argue Gojo and Geto would beat Naobito via out-haxing him and he has superior stats (unlikely given the context of them fighting alone, with Naobito was relevant Tengen would send him too), he can't be a perception blitz level greater than them given he'd lose in a fight.

Secondly, Toji. We know Toji has information on how strong Gojo is and when asked if he could beat Gojo he's unsure, and thus is willing to spend tens of millions to create favourable circumstances at which he can take down Gojo. This is a huge this for Toji given he's so desperate for money that he had to resort to selling Megumi despite being willing to die for his children (meaning he was likely going to use the money for Tsumiki, his wife's daughter), and Toji's concern over fighting Gojo is reinforced as after he sneaks Gojo he even admits to himself that if Gojo wasn't fatigued and injured then he likely would've lost. This is consistent with the feats, also. Firstly, Gojo's fatigue was simply tiredness but his brain was literally being "fried", as that's the consequence of overusing the Limitless. When Toji sneak attacked Gojo during casual conversation Gojo was able to react to the blade entering his torso fast enough to reinforce his organs before it reached them, and then whilst the blade was inside him was able to turn 180 degrees and throw Toji in the air before he could react. Then, with his brain fried and a sword through his chest, Gojo is repeatedly throwing Toji around before Toji can land any strikes. Then, when Gojo is convinced the fight is over and his vision is blocked, Toji appears behind him and (mid-swing) Gojo is able to react and fully turn around. As for Gojo's striking power specifically, his blue is at the very least capable of damaging Toji and his strikes shouldn't be that much weaker due to the feats in the Sukuna fight.

As for Geto's performance, Toji literally amplified his physical capabilities with a binding vow and yet Geto was capable of evading Toji's charge before getting sliced whilst in shock at his CT seemingly not working. So this doesn't necessarily contradict any of the scaling, as Toji was amped and doesn't even have that impressive of a showing (especially when you take the anime depiction into account).

There's also just the narrative of Gojo as someone with the same potential as sorcerers such as Yuji, Yuta, Hakari, Higuruma, all of them who are reaching these insane levels early on in life, and so to say Gojo as a teenager was weak or not on this impressive pedestal isn't backed or supported anywhere. The only person who is arguably an exception is Yuki as she's not well-known to jujutsu society nor is she consistently considered an asset of hers (not to mention her open antagonism for Tengen and support for the group Gojo and Geto were fighting), and so given her performance on Kenjaku I can see her being stronger than the duo at this point in the story but narratively excluded from the statements I've used for their scaling. Although, even then, we know Gojo even as a kid knew high level anti-domain techniques like falling blossom emotion, so I can see pre-RCT Gojo and Yuki having ambiguity around it.

thankfully it's all just commonly known statements I'm using, like stuff to do with the story of the arc and the regularly posted statements of Gojo and Geto as the strongest, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. The main point I wanted to make is Gojo's strength (or at least a lowball estimate of it) is known to random curse users, so saying a big 3 family member who has access to Gojo clan secrets like Toji wouldn't have ANY info on Gojo's power is insane.
