Hey don't apologize to me...you're offering me a service which you put time, money, and effort into, so I would expect a three minute track to be somewhere in the 100's range in price.

Also yes, I would to talk about it more in detail if possible. I have a good chunk of money and, I'm meaning to get a job anyway so I would definitely give you a holler whenever I'm ready
My discord is "arnice" so just shoot me a FR when you can.

I joined VSW for its fun DB community.

I might just stay here if some others want to stay too.

...Oh was that revealed DB costs? MATH CONSPIRACY TIME

So 5000 makes 2 days, so simply 1 day of work costs 2500. How many working days are there in a year? Why its 52 * 5 + 1 because 365 doesnt divide nice. So that is 261 days of work per year which then mean we can multiply daily costs and we get:

2500 * 261 = 652 500

So a year of DB costs 652 500 dollaroos.

More then half a million is a lot if thats accurate

We really dont know enough details tbh but if its 5000 for 2 days of work (if even that apparently), its an estimate.

Did you guys not see the last half? Shit looked good. Unironically tho they probably had a lot of people working on eps, more than we realized.

A Japanese anime house is spending US$140,000 to US$180,000 for a 30-minute episode (with time leaving for ads and OPs and EDs of course).

Even if we go for a low end it goes US$2,240,000 to make 16 episodes.

So Rooster Teeth is really cutting corners in making a year of 16 Death Battle episodes spending US$652,500 only - that is ~30% the cost.

Now, to rely solely on Death Battle Champion membership... A US$2 membership per month means US$24 per year.
They need US$(652,500÷24) = more than 27,188 paid members to cover their costs. Their production costs. Not the management and administration and promotion costs.

Now we guess why they want Wiz and Boomstick animated? They wanted to make Wiz and Boomstick merchandise out from it so that they could get more revenue from the associated merchandise goods - to make one extra stream of profit from the costs they sank. Then... Likely the merchandise goods do not get sold well else nobody would be complaining why the production team spent extra on animating Wiz and Boomstick.

On that topic, why the hell did they make macho man vs KAM a boomstick lore episode? No one cares about Wiz and Boomstick THAT much, right?
Because that episode is trash. Always considered it one of the worst.

honestly, I just think that they didn’t properly manage their budget.

In meta sense, I like the idea that VS show that does research on characters long history would eventually do research on themselves, as they themselves have gained a lot of history over time from analysing others. Neat way to "earn" feats.

But yeaaah we dont really need Animated segments. MMvsKAM was ok enough too, 6/10.

Tbh I got ColeAlex & BillDiscord so that was close. I guess Kratos never getting proper return is the biggest miss and I suppose BowserEggman as well. From what I care as much anyways.
