How do you calculate this feat?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
The specifics can be found on our pages for Creation feats. The long and short of it is, you calculate it based on the mass of the object made. Our Creation Feats page has a specific list of tiersetters.

Yes, and since it is liquification of a building, I'm not sure if it's right to call it incineration
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I'm confused, then. Your original question was about why the methods were different, is your complaint just about the nomenclature?
    Hagane_no_Saiyajin
    Hagane_no_Saiyajin
I just confused as to how one calc uses a method that can definitely be considered incineration but the other is definitely uses liquification as a method but it's called incineration. It's feels inconsistent in my eyes
Hi, Byashura said that he is busy and has given up on the crts. Could you please add the abilities since they have been agreed upon by mods as well? here and here. It would be greatly appreciated and it will close these crts that have been ongoing for weeks. Thanks
Hello there, sorry for bothering you

Can you check this VS thread? If you can give inputs it'll be very appreciated

I've no more interest in the Top 5 threads

if you wanted to do me a favor and just nyx the D&D pages from there, it'd clear up some headaches in the future

    cheers

Alright man, thx for answering anyway
Hello there, sorry for bothering you

I wanna ask about DnD's layers of resistance especially Orcus's, does he have smurf resistance? If it is then how high is it?
    Noneless21
    Noneless21
Smurf resistance is just higher dimensional resistance like what you said about orcus when he has 4D resistance that means he has smurf resistance (to me anyway)

Does that mean that he have extremely high scaling chain of 4D resistance to almost all power and abilities even at his high 6-A key then?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
Yes, I am aware, but Orcus' page spans multiple "dimensional" gaps. Thus I was asking for clarification.

High High 6-A key has 4-D resistances, aye, though the chain there is smaller.

Aaaah i see, thank you for the further explanation

Would love if you could check out this profile, it obviously would be match-banned but aside from the formatting do you think it's good to publish? The OP worked very hard on this and if nothing else could serve as a decent example on how to make a good profile.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I will say, we actually already have plenty of pages that serve as a good example to new people, if they know where to look. While I can appreciate the amount of work that went into this, I don't think it serves as one- I firmly believe there is such a thing as too much infodumping on irrelevant topics. For example, you have eleven citations for the exact specific scientific classification of humans. People can surely figure it out with less. Personally, I prefer information-dense profiles.

As for your abilities... eh. A lot of these are meme type things that, if listed for anything else, would get laughed at. Such as "Resistance to Heat and Fire" (which, for the record, isn't notable in this context for VSBW- I don't think any flames reach a mere 212 F temperature).

I think you'd also need to make a rather major thread discussing a profile like this even existing. We've had similar profiles in the past that were erased, though I must admit I remember little about the details.
Could I get some clarification regarding the speed feats? One is that the lasers had already been accepted as light speed. And could clarification regarding the EMP. The EMP in cutscene was not instantaneous but the EMP in game takes 1 frame. So is it only the cutscene EMP that is a problem and the gameplay EMP would work?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I see. I will note that, if the YoRHa page is anything to go by, at least, that this doesn't seem to be a staff-approved revision, or at least not a staff-enacted one. It may be that the rating was given carelessly before discussions were actually had- it is not uncommon for folks to just say lasers are light speed.

If I wanted to make a case, I assume it would be a forum thread?

And how should I proceed in the meantime then?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
A thread should be made, aye, preferably also by nabbing relevant staff members and supporters (the latter is your choice). If you like, you may ask the calc group member I spoke to about the calcs as well- it was Armorchompy.
I have a question regarding Gar Shatterkeel

    What is his starting moves?
What are the notable moves when faced against energy based danmaku and forcefields?
Are there any notably dangerous moves in his arsenal?

And in case you're wondering why I'm asking this, it's because of this. I can't really defend a pre-established character because I don't really know the details of their, well, character

Regarding that heat feat, can I have a scan as well as proof that Helmed Horror has resistances of that level?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
Wdym for the latter? Helmed Horror's resistances, much like other resistances, are simply a statement that it takes minimized/no damage from fire sources, when said fire sources include (insert aforementioned sun surface-dwelling fire elementals here). I can try to go hunt down a feat for the sun-monsters, though, and the Phaethon has its own page for the other heat feat.

Alright this might take a bit since I need to get my hands on the proper book. In the meantime, I can tell you which book it is in- Spelljammer: Realmspace, 2e, pg 5-6.
Hi, given you are a supporter of shovel knight and a calc group member could you please check this CRT when you have time and/or @ some people.
    yo mr. bambu

if speed is equalized, No knowledge for either character, Incap only.

is it possible for a matchup to be made between these two characters?
    Hola Senor Bambu

Remember the whole Universal Power Source schtick? Well it's been sometime since you last commented on the staff-only thread voicing your approval, and substantial changes to the draft were made in accordance to what AKM said there, and DDM also made his argument for keeping a page. (All the links for DDM's argument and my draft can be found here). Care to weigh in your opinion once more?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
    oh, goodie.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
Man it seems to have drifted fuckloads since I was last here, eh?

Since DDM's summary is a mile and a half long, tell me, without all the bureaucracy tacked on: is it, more or less, still the same thing? DDM's post rambles on quite a bit, and I've little interest in spending my time off of work parsing it for relevant information. I'm still reading your sandbox, of course.
Hey, I had a question regarding tabletop profiles, if you have a minute.

If a tabletop rpg has had 2 editions (technically three but the 1st is explicitly no longer canon), with the same cast and setting between them, but the exact mechanics of the in-universe power system changed a lot between the two, how would we handle it?
My gut reaction is to treat the changes as a retcon and default to the latest edition, but I wanted to get a second opinion.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
Ah, you also messaged me on here

I forget which one I did first
Thanks again for the info tho
    Okay, one other question

When an elemental in D&D is killed (The ones with Type 9 Immortality), will it be disconnected from the plain it is on and thus be unable to harm its opponent or does it mean it'll come back repeatedly until it is killed on all plains?

And continuing on, when fighting a person with Type 9 Immortality, is killing the vessel enough if it prevents the original from interacting with their opponent?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
That depends on the elemental. Low-tier ones are unlikely to be able to return in a reasonable amount of time. However, Elemental Lords such as Olhydra could very well return within a 24 hour time limit, especially if the location was in their favor (continuing with the Olhydra example, this would mean fighting near or in a large body of water).
