Genshin Impact Discussion Thread

Im not saying her Elemental Skill aint canon, im saying the properties of it in gameplay aint
Yes it is. If a character's Elemental Skill explicitly grants a buff, enhancement, infusion, healing, or another effect, then unless the lore or developers state that the effect is gameplay-only, there's no reason to dismiss it as non-canon.

So what do you guys think of Aether’s Death Battle preview. I found it pretty good. Covered his reluctance in the early parts of Genshin, mentioned Arama (What I named my Little One) and I’m glad they gave him props for Fontaine. The jokes were pretty funny too

Thats not how Burden of Proof works
Its the other way u need to show me

Genshin Impact have consistently shows how a gameplay mechanics is also tied to the lore. And you got the developer, Aquaria, back in Genshin FES a couple of months ago saying that almost everything in Genshin has its own lore, including elemental skill of a characters and everything about it. Such as how/why Venti's cooldown is so long and the lore reason behind it, and everything else.

If thats the case, then im again telling u to not use gameplay only stuff
Im talking about "When in party, Navia grants their team 200% more attack against enemies in fontaine during Daytime" in fact, some mods told me not to use gameplay stuff just as Cons mechanics

But not everything in gameplay is actuallh accurate to lore as shown by contradictions like Traveler or Hu Tao

Constelletion are part of Vision user in and of itself. So I don't see why we should not.

It's surreal to know that our journey all started because of these "insignificant" message sent by some curious dragon researchers

Their buffs aren't
Yes they are. While the gameplay method of unlocking Constellations (using Stella Fortuna) is a progression system, Constellations themselves are canon.

Mona explicitly explains that constellations are part of the Vision bearer in and of itself:
"Do you know about constellations? Astrologers believe that the patterns of the stars map out the destiny of Vision bearers—past, present, and future; everything is written in the stars."
This establishes that constellations are an actual part of the world's lore, not something invented solely for gameplay. Constellations represent an aspects of a character's destiny and power, therefore all of their abilities or enhancements tied to them cannot simply be dismissed as "non-canon" without evidence.

Ain't we can scale Navia and Clorinde to Fontaine Traveler because they can keep up fighting this thing?

When we have cutscene we need to compare their contribution to the fight, no one aside of Clorinde hurt the monster (but Traveler has 50% chance of being held back, since one option post cutscene its just realizing that wasnt role playing at all)
Can't even scale to speed cause monster gets horribly blizted by Clorinde

And i never said this
Their buffs aren't
Gameplays mechanics not allowed
Can we have bare minimun reading comprehension before making a comment?

Regardless, the golem was capable of toe to toe with the Traveler. Navia kept up with the Traveler, and they manage to make the golem kneel down.

I don't see the Traveler being held back whatsoever, he's giving his best right there.

Can't even scale to speed cause monster gets horribly blizted by Clorinde
That's just mean Clorinde is faster than them in that cutscene.

U just proving Constellations are canon, not their buffs
And that's just it, lmao, that's what we needed to be a canon. The buffs are part of the constellations that makes the bearer stronger, and we know constellations represent the bearer's fate and power.

Like I said, the combat-designer, Aquaria, have said that everything within genshin, even the characters' gameplay mechanics, are tied to their own lore. He gave you the example of that such as Venti.

Lyney: Guess none of us wanted to be the one to break the illusion.
Paimon: Huh? What are you all talking about?
Yeah, what's going on?
Navia: Wait, don't tell me you never...! Ah, this is all my fault. It's not too late to cover your ears! Here, partner, I'll do it for you!
That's just mean Clorinde is faster than them in that cutscene.
U saying the woman was relativite to childe is faster than a brochacho comparable to the dude who blizted same childe?
Traveler Hydro >= Neuvi Base >>>> Childe Fontaine = Clorinde

Oh yeah let's just ignore a moderator's words and 3 CRTs approved where 3 - 6 mods gave their veredict of not using gameplay mechanics just because u feel like it
Right?

This is not indicating that they were holding back.

Relying on that Neuvi's ascension voicelines again, aren't we? Smh.

Right?
That's your only argument? From an accepted CRT? That's a weak argument. I can make a CRT talking about this stuff if I wanted to and explain everything about gameplay mechanics in Gemshin being canon and tied to the lore WHENEVER the fck I want. But the other guy have made it in Staff Discussion, and they could've add more usable stuff regarding the constellations, but since they seems to not play Genshin or know Genshin lore that much they can't provide the things.

Traveler litterally tought he was role playing, so why would he go all out?

So gameplay mechanics are canon but voice lines aren't?

"NOOOO U CANT USE THE FACT 6 MODS OF THE WIKI AGREE WITH U TO SAY WHAT THE WIKI ALLOWS"
I can make a CRT talking about this stuff if I wanted to and explain everything about gameplay mechanics in Gemshin being canon and tied to the lore WHENEVER the fck I want.
And since u dont do it nor has been accepted, it means im right and u should start listening to the mods because they haven't allow what u doing in Navia profile
Always if, never is

Ronova is a boss (idk if she is a story boss or weekly)
she still has an Avatar_Girl npc config tho, so visually she's of playable model quality.

I swear to god, if she gets defeated by Cryo Traveler and Tsarita, im gonna laugh and slander her so bad

It was really fun. I like how they referenced early Genshin memes (mc donald, ehe te nandyo, windblade...) the editing was top notch too. But i also have a tiny feeling they will make Lisa feat into the high end megatons... Anyway ive been waiting for this episode for so long and i only see hints that they know Genshin well enough to not butcher Traveler so im happy
