For a long time, Imaginary Barriers have just been listed as 'higher' on profiles. I seek to change that.

Defining Imaginary Barriers / their capabilities.
Imaginary Barriers are best described as a hexagonal patterned shield, usually with interlaced / overlapping hexagons.

To actually prime the discussion, I believe the most consistent interpretation of an Imaginary Barrier is creating a dimension around ones-self, overlapped onto the 4th dimension. To appropriately overlap, there has to be a 4th dimensional coordinate involved, hence 5th dimensional. (4 Spatial + 1 Temporal). Like seen here. It's a superimposition of a higher dimensional space onto a lower one, rendering whoever's inside untouchable and invisible. Literally the definition of range.

Imaginary Barriers, when used, are always brought up with the warping of space-time or dimensionality itself. Welt also describes the barrier as not being part of material physics, more clues towards their higher-dimensional effects. As seen in the latter scans, Ryusuke has merged with a higher-dimension and thus is able to attack through Welt's Imaginary Barrier because of this. It's also worth noting that when Welt ascends to higher-dimensional space, he is able to make a barrier that blocks Ryusuke, likely through exceeding Ryusuke's dimensionality. (Ryusuke being 5D range, Welt ascending to that level and making a 6D barrier).
So, Imaginary Barriers block everything that's on a lower dimensionality.

The Herrscher of the Void, Sirin, specifically deals with the creation of Imaginary Spaces, which are defined as spaces existing outside of a 4D plane.
To further explain, a 5D space is counted as an imaginary space, and Sirin is capable of reflecting these imaginary numbers onto real 4D space. This makes the most sense by attaching a 4th spatial coordinate, dealing specifically with imaginary spaces.
As discussed in the above scan, the event where Theresa was pierced by an intangible subspace lance is best explained by Sirin's lance having a 4th dimensional coordinate, let's say simply a 1. This means it exists on another plane higher than the one the characters are on, but the first 3 spatial coordinates are the same so the lance is in the same location in 4D terms.
Setting that 4th dimensional coordinate to 0 would make the lance tangible once again, thus giving it the effect of suddenly appearing and piercing Theresa's chest.

Thanks to all the factors above, I think it's most sensible to determine the Imaginary Barriers as:
Range, dimensions should be specified, 5D should be assumed. (4 spatial, 1 temporal)
Forcefield creation, of course.
Higher-dimensional manipulation.
Space-time manipulation.

These can all be listed just as 'Imaginary Barrier [(dimension)]' such as [5D] in Sirin's case and [12D] in Kevin's case.

So, specifically:
Sirin and Welt's barriers are 5D range.
The barrier Welt uses to block Ryusuke is 6D range.
Kevin creates an Imaginary Barrier to block Durandal, who has merged with an Ether Anchor (11D HDE) - Imaginary Barriers block all lower-dimensional attacks, thus his barrier would be 12D.

Once again, I am arguing specifically range, that these attacks are stopped through the character being higher-dimensional and a dimensionality on the same level or exceeding the barrier is needed to break / ignore it.

It's worth noting that durability could be argued for, as the barriers block Ryusuke, Durandal, etc, however we don't want to upscale the whole verse to L1C (or even H1C), as Welt is able to rip one of these barriers apart with his bare hands. Durability is further inconsistent as attacks from Welt's created army (tanks, warships, etc) are able to cause Sirin's barrier to crack. As for why they can interact, it's just an inconsistency which isn't repeated. Welt and the Judgement of Shamash can interact with Imaginary Barriers as they have Herrscher Cores, Herrschers can manipulate higher-dimensional space and Ryusuke is just flat out higher-dimensional, so the portrayal of Imaginary Barriers is more suited and more consistent with range instead of durability.
Their actual durability should be equal to the character's general durability (and as the verse is UES, AP, etc)

Anyway, quick Star of Eden section unrelated to anything above, it's just proposing the Star of Eden's max output per character can also be applied to their defence.

Honkai Energy is UES.
Divine Key output is currently accepted as depending on how much Honkai Energy is drawn from the user and Imaginary Space (via Divine Keys having Herrscher cores).
The Star of Eden can also make barriers, thus any offensive output from the Star of Eden should be able to be utilised defensively.

Thus, the Star of Eden's durability section should be changed to:
Varies (Depending on the user and Honkai energy input)
At least Multi-Solar System level (in the hands of Einstein, who lacks the ability to wield Honkai energy herself. The barriers can defend against Schrodinger, who can clash against Welt Joyce) up to Low Complex Multiverse Level (can be wielded by Herrscher of Reason Bronya) with forcefield creation.
Welt's page would also be effected, he'd get:
Varies up to Multiverse level+ in his durability section via Forcefield creation

  1. Summary of profiles affected for the Star of Eden's barrier creation. (This is not the Imaginary Barrier part of the CRT)
    Welt Joyce
    • Varies up to higher with Forcefield creation
    Welt Yang
    • Varies up to Multiverse level+ with Forcefield creation
    Bronya (HoR)
    • Varies up to Low Complex Multiverse Level

  2. Drive Kometa also gets varies up to higher

Likely through exceeding Ryusuke's dimensionality.
No, nothing suggested this, Welt can just ascend to the same dimensionality as Ryuusuke and still be able to contest with him becayse they are literally within the same level of existence

Claim that Welt or any other character need to be higher dimensionality than other to block their attacks is extraordinary claim so i disagree with it, especially you using this argument to stacking up dimensionality above what the cosmology itself has show

So does this mean Welt's barrier is low 1-C via blocking Ryusuke's attacks, who is Low 1-C rn

Also just want to note that higher dimensionality is not always corresponse to power/stats, so.....

Ok but if you disagree then does that mean the barrier he made against Ryusuke is Low 1-C for blocking a Low 1-C attack

(Also since apparently the crt is arguing the SOE scales then does that make his SOE varies up to that rating as well)

If Ryuusuke attack is Low 1-C, yeah

You misunderstand, Welt ascends to the same level of existence and his Imaginary Barriers are +1D range, as they exist above the physical plane the two characters are on and have the same effects shown in Second Eruption. I think it's fair to say 6D for that specific barrier in range.

So I'm arguing the Imaginary Barriers work with range, because it's the most consistent showing of how the ability works.

Think about this attack, which the Herrscher of the Void is obviously the clearest example of range being portrayed how I say it is here.

Himeko's attack, when it clashes against the barrier, is warped into a different overlapped dimension, then is released from the barrier. Also please note that portals don't resist when you throw an object at them, this is much closer to a barrier.

Anyway, it's fine if you disagree with Welt itself, can you comment on the overall points of the proposal?
especially you using this argument to stacking up dimensionality above what the cosmology itself has show
Might wanna hold your tongue on that one...

I'm a little on the fence about Welt and Sirin, wouldn't their range just be interdimensional/extradimensional & L1C since they aren't affecting the whole of a significant sized space? The stuff with Ryusuke is fine ig since his profile states he has large size type 10
Edit: The interdimensional/extradimensional & L1C should apply to Kevin too

I think their ranges already exceed that regardless, or at least will exceed that soon.

Unless I'm missing smth, based off what's been stated here it's not like they affect the entirety of a 5th or 11th dimensional space through overcoming the barriers, future stuff is a separate matter though
Yeah but affecting a small part of the 5th dimension is still extradimensional range, pretty sure. All they get through overcoming the barriers is range, I'm not trying to argue for higher dimensional dura because I think it’s inconsistent.

Fair enough, I agree with that I just wanted to have that cleared up, agree then
