Las Noches Size Downgrade

can a CGM eval the math pls 🥺

Btw can someone summarize why we do not use Nel's statement for the size of LN. Also will there be a discussion rule on the size of LN like Seireitei since someone mentioned that or will it be open season if someone wants to make a CRT to undo the changes in the future?
consistency & no there will not be a discussion rule, neither the pro or anti side has nearly enough threads to justify a discussion rule especially because this topic has not had threads on it for 7-8 years although someone would have to wait 3 months before they can undo a thread tho

How fast would they be walking to cross a 4km building in 3 days according to Nel?
This has been answered like 10 billion times in this thread alone, bringing it up will result in 3 more pages of pointless back and forth, characters traverse seretei within hours, this would be no different
Technically Nel's statement isn't for them crossing the diameter.
damageeeee pls eval the blog gang 🥺

My question is how fast are they walking where it would need to take 3days according to Nel for a 3.9km structure.

According to your calc they’re below average humans. Is that the accuracy and consistency y’all argued about for apparently 10 pages lol?

For 3 days of walk, with rest, you would need to walk at 0.026 m/s, for something as big as human, this is the so called consistency people voted here for.
Basically as fast as this:

Anyway, I noticed the wiki has a horizan calculator on the calc page here.

The image I posted shows different buildings with windows. Some of the buildings cannot even be fully seen, and other sections are not visible at all. All of this is still inside Las Noches.
These visuals even contradict the so-called “consistent visual” approved for the 3km interpretation. In fact, by the calculator if Yammy height ranges from 30m to 60m or even higher, the diameter reaches easily 20km-30km.

Those Building are massive, they have a series of small windows, this put those building height bare minimum at 40m by just estimating.

Yammy completely surpass them in size by several time, yet with a POV like that in several shot you don't even see tall buildings.

The tall buildings can't be seen:

Here as well.

So we just ignoring all the visual that clearly contradict any few KM size as well? if the length were just 3KM you would be able to see everything easily, there are big towers, we can't see, and the horizon from an very high POV doesn't show an end as well.

We don't have clear uninterrupted views of the horizon in those shots; they're covered up by dunes.
The last one not that much, and still the tall buildings can't be seen, here there is no dunes. No tall buildings, no bigger buildings, despite each espada has its own division, etc.

Or the statement was just not as important as you want it to be
Yes, the statement that was reaffirmed by the main character is not important.

Clearly, you're somewhat of a genius yourself, since you believe the author of a major story is not intelligent enough to know what he's writing.

To be fair "Writers Have No Sense of Scale" is a trope that had existed for a long time. There are issues no matter what stance one takes as you also have to believe that Kubo is incapable of drawing anything to be the supposed size that he had in mind, making his art entirely unreliable for powerscaling. The best option is simply what is most consistent. If Nel's statement had given a calculated figure of Las Noches being 10,000 km across; would you still insist we use that despite all the other evidence of the contrary? Or would you accept that statements aren't the highest priority in the end?

So you saying 4km (Las Noches Diameter) is consistent?

Do we ever see this wall again even though people are claiming the size is 4km we should be able to see it from other angles no?
