We can still prove they scale to physicals again, in fact its blatanly stated that the powers they use for all sorts of abilities radiates of their bodies and more statements that their EPs comes from within them (All 4-C feats aren't from EMs either but Magicians but that's another matter)

There's litterally statements of their powers litterally going throught their veins . Im obviously not going to send every single statement and scenes showcasing the Ninjas or Elemental Masters physical increasing or decrease when losing or getting more power which happens every 1-2 seasons.

Half of season 5 is a display of the Ninjas physical strength and durability plummeting when they lose their powers, and rise up again when they get their powers back. Elemental Masters scaling to their own powers physically is fairly obvious

In DR Season 3 and 4, the malfunction of the EM's elemental powers weakened them. Also in DR Season 4, the evil version of Lloyd was able to move the Sun and Moon at high speed to create a continuous day-night cycle and even stop it.
