Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

Anyway, maybe the permanent ban for Saint was exaggerated, but Crimsonobu needs to change their password and stop sharing accounts with others, if they actually are two different people, which is difficult for us to properly verify. 🙏
If both @Crimsonobu and @Saint reach out to me on discord, I can verify that!

wrong dude. i dont have a forum account. just a main vs wiki one. me and crimsonobu share this cuz he wanted me to talk about lookism. i havent had contact with him on discord since my old account which has been doxxed and i deleated. but iv made a new one a few months back. if he can add me back and we get into a gc then we gucci

It has roots in Nazism. 🙏
theres genuinely no way im being accused of nazism on a term thats used regularly in spain and that another person agreed is used commonly in their land too

Can we really trust him? Because he can log into the account whenever he wants.
i dont have the log in. you can ask crimsonobu if he replies. i dont recall his old discord which he sent me a log in to like months back. tahts why i couldnt go back to the other account aswell on the main page

thats a reference to a popular meme. i get that it was offensive but permaban worthy?
I thought that you were an abusive new troll member.

For how long do our other staff members think that the ban should last, and should we ban both the Saint and Crimsonobu accounts?

I said that the term "s__human"/"unterm_____" itself has roots in Nazism, not that you are a Nazi. 🙏

understood.i wont use this account for as long as the ban lasts. ill take the ban to the saint account normally. but crimsonobu himself is fairly active on rezero forums so i wouldnt want to affect that

Given the combination of slurs, threats, and sexual comments directed at other people, it should probably be at least six months.

If they can prove they're two different people, and agree to stop sharing, then we don't have to ban Crimsonobu, but otherwise we sort of have no choice since they're clearly using the account.

wait sexual comments? oh nvm the shaboing boing one. even tho it was a reference to a meme. it is what it is

So, should we apply a 1 year ban for both accounts then? Unless @AKM sama is willing to investigate if they really are two different people? 🙏

Okay. So would a 1 year block for each of them be appropriate then? 🙏

Sadly, I think AKM is right. Even if we assume they're different people there's no question Saint is literally talking to us using Crimsonobu's account. We'd need a solid reason to believe they're different people and for Crimsonobu to change their details. Account sharing is a pretty shaky issue at the best of times.

This part is completely uncalled for. What other users do in a Discord server is not your problem in the slightest, and based on what those screenshots show, it is obvious from a mile away that those users are simply joking around with each other, and that none of them has been responsible for any of the downgrades of the verses mentioned.

Trying to pad out your report not only with violations of user privacy, but also by portraying joking comments as something far uglier than they really are, is extremely low and definitely does not reflect well on your intentions.

sigh I was scrolling through discord and see someone pinging me that I'm in RvR. And like.. what the hell is this?

Oh, mind also pointing out that this is BACK IN 2023?
I mean come on dude, what kinda beef is this 💀

Oh how people love to paint others in imaginary colors

Oh wow, so now people don't have a life outside vsbw?
Nice portrayal man

Can you quote part of the rules that says that a vsbw user cannot ask an author whatever question they like if they don't use it on vsbw? I mean otherwise it's literally restricting freedom of speech -_-

Afaik asking leading questions is a problem cuz people use it on vsbw for CRTs. But do you see me or any other tensura supporters of the current gen using these leading questions?

The only wog I remember using is back from 2013 to 2014...

A showing of pettiness alright.
The name of the server is self explanatory, it's a tensura vsbw server. Joining it is a choice of yours and yours alone. No one forced you to do it. If you oh so hate us joking about fictional characters than the leave button is always a welcome to you.

And once again, I would like to mention: know how to take a joke. This is like going to the principal's office for "that kid was hating on a character I like so please punish him" as if people can't have vastly different opinion.

Bottom line, some harsh words involved, this is just failing to acknowledge that opinions vary, falling to respect privacy, failing to respect others' opinions and mind one's own business, failing to take what is clearly a joke as a joke, failing to acknowledge freedom of speech, failing to admit people have life outside vsbw, etc. Etc

I genuinely thought this was a troll report at first. Lol
(I didn't address anything related to Ninjago since I have no relation to that verse, so I didn't care checking that part of your report either)

AND, lastly, my apologies for using harsh wording when I did, but this is just that level of "annoying". Still, I made sure I did not transition from harsh words to hate speech, and hopefully that worked 🙏

Yeah, this looks pretty bad to me, especially the part implying that powerscaling questions were framed specifically to manipulate the author into giving a desired answer. I will wait to see what the members involved in the report have to say about this.

Zane's stuff doesn't seems reportable. His comments mostly seems to coming as jokes. So i don't think any action needs to be taken regarding him.

On another note, i ask members not involved in the report to refrain from commenting unless they have something important to add on.

May I just ask, is asking "leading questions" against the rules if they have never been used for on-site scaling? (Since I don't believe any of these were even attempted to be used on site.)

Yes, I agree with you.

I was about to report this matter as well, just like you, because it literally crossed all limits to the point that I was going to leave this community yesterday and delete my account. Therefore, I really ask the team to take action against them.

Yo. Tatsumaki here.

Yes, I was messaging the author.
Yes, I asked author about MWI.
Yes, I said swords solos Goku.
No, I didn't meant to use any of his replies for scaling in any form.

All of my questions to Fuse are my personal questions which haunt me everytime I am reading Tensura. I also asked if Cardinal World is a planet or universe, since LN is juggling the meaning of this word all the time. And EVEN IF I would want to use any of his answers actually for scaling, I still wouldn't be able to, because Fuse is always answering in an uncertain way to leave some room for speculations. As you may know (or not) MWI in Tensura was a really hot topic few months ago. Hinata and Rimuru refused to believe in MWI and agreed on single timeline. However it was not due to logical thinking, but more due to "It would be depressing thinking about other timelines we cannot save". And there are arguments for MWI indeed existing. So I wanted to know what was Fuse's interpretation since I had a discussion with my native Japanese friends and they were confused about it as well. If I would get an answer, would I share it? Sure. Because I am not the only one curious about it. But would that answer be even any usable in scaling? Hell nah.

So yeah, nothing serious from my side. I asked this for my own curiosity... And kinda find it hilarious that I have to now explaining myself in a report thread because of it.

No way I was completely right that the Zeno downgrade was planned targeted attack

These are the same folks that says I was basely accusing (now proof is here)
While I strongly disagreed with the thread, calling it a "Plotted attack" is a very bold accusation. It could just be that some people misunderstood some general policies and/or the verse specific interpretation of how Hakai works. In the case of the thread, Zeno was obviously just going all out and releasing his Hakai in an omnidirectional pattern. And he's effectively still resisting it due to Inverse Square Law if anything.

Why would someone ask a leading powerscaling questions in such a way that they don't "appear" to be powerscaling questions? To just clear their own doubts? I don't think so. Such manipulative attempts are obviously against rules because they are being done so to be used here on-site.

Bro. I promise you it was not planned. All that "planned targeted attacks" is reduced to this:

I saw profile
I told my friends I'll make my first CRT
1 hour later I made CRT
Everyone laughed at me because nobody agreed and I lost my "CRT virginity" to Zeno downgrade 💔

Stop seeing conspiracy in everything.

because they are being done so to be used here on-site.
This is pretty much speculations + Hitchen's good old razor

You can use questions outside vsbw too. And not every wiki had a rule against wog (hell, I've seen far more questionable wog being used in various other power scaling wikis).

So by assuming this is report worthy, you're assuming that:
  • We only scale on vsbw
  • We intent to specifically use the questions we ask on vsbw (with no past records of such by the way)
  • That we do not have a personally curiosity for things
  • That we don't want to use it for anything else outside of vsbw
All of those are something you lack any proof for and are extremely unjustified claims. Heck, even the false "evidence" is a breech of privacy with no justification.

Let me ask you, How strict is forum when it comes to their users' privacy concern and freedom of speech?

I am in the Tensura server but I don't have an acc for the Q&A website nor did I attempt to well ask questions I don't really care but umm why is Buttler and Hecky being accused ? Neither of them are in the server ?
This doesn't concern me directly but I don't think these two events are correlated like at all.

I'm pretty sure the matter of this report doesn't relate to you in any way....?
But I am involved in it, and specifically in this part here ↓

I would also like to specifically tell @Zanesucksatlife and everyone else apart of the Tensura server to not act childish. Targeting other Verses purely because you have resentment for it shouldn’t be the main reason why you deliver downgrades. Downgrades should be chosen if you fully believe that reasoning for said ability, tier or any other aspect is full of flaws. One Verse’ loss isn’t something to brag about or be ecstatic about. This is quite minor and I don’t think it warrants any disciplinary action but the screenshots I hold and saw came across as very petty.

And I, personally now, am also submitting a report about this matter and I say that the topic owner is correct, and this is what I meant in the comment, because Tensura fans have literally crossed all limits. They attack all works, with hatred and malice, and they ruin topics they do not like. And the same elements of Tensura fans repeat this behavior, and all supporters of various works have noticed this, and even I am currently experiencing this, whether when I supported Dragon Ball or Jujutsu Kaisen or others, and I noticed that the same group attacks other works. This behavior is dangerous and causes topics to be ruined and creates many problems. Some people here cannot tolerate these behaviors and may react badly in anger, because attacking someone with the goal of sabotaging their topic collectively out of malice and hatred—even if the staff do not notice—still, the person themselves is aware of this type and this kind of people.

There is a difference between a person who opposes because the argument is wrong and with good intentions to correct mistakes, and people who oppose any argument collectively just to sabotage your topic. And it reaches the point where the topic owner knows this is happening to them, but unfortunately does not know what to do.

Staff can check this matter now themselves through many supporters and members here. If there are many members now like me and like this person who noticed the matter, we can prove this and take action against them, because I personally know it is difficult to prove this. But if everyone complains about the same problem, it means this is really an issue and action should be taken against them, because this is literally one of the most serious rule violations. It literally causes countless problems, and most importantly, it favors correct topics less, annoys the topic owner and also the supporters, and makes the topic heavy with comments that distract attention with rejection and deliberate collective opposition. It also causes the member to be forced into reacting badly in anger, and they cannot even defend themselves because the staff do not see the matter as they do. Intentions are hidden, denial exists, and accusing here would not be useful and can even cause members to leave the community if it happens repeatedly. For the topic owner, this is very serious and action can be taken against this type of group by collecting reports for the same reason, verifying, and asking members for their opinion. If the problem is collective and real, only then can proper action be taken against them.

This is what I have to say, and this is just a contribution regarding this matter, and I hope everyone does not misinterpret it, because the problem is not only mine, but a collective problem that many in the community suffer from.

If they're not being used nor is there an attempt at making use of them on site, then no. It is many things but it isn't any of our concern how someone interacts with an author fully offsite.

Also, speaking generally; as long as there isn't an active harassment campaign against a specific user(s) or extremely harmful behavior, it doesn't matter that you plan out a downgrade with other users on Discord. We do not nor can we police that at all. As long as an argument is sound (and not very obvious spite with no coherence) then the user can have an IHateXverse user name for all I care.

I would also like to ask something regarding our site rules

I wonder if this is applicable here? Because some of the "evidence" originally used here is back from 2023, literally 3 years ago. I think this puts some question marks on the intentions of the OP's report

Sooo
Any proof?

As far as I'm concerned, people from all across the wiki came to your threads
Supporters, opponents, people who don't give a damn - everyone

It seems weird to select a certain group out of them, especially with such categorization

My WiFi is horrible right now so I’m unable to make constantly make replies back so I’ll do the best I can. The downgrading and pettiness part isn’t exactly important it’s why there’s less emphasis on that side. The actual deplorable part of this report which is so blatant I don’t see any justification or excuse is the manipulation. Now I’m going to be blunt here. Alex, the reason you don’t want it to appear as powerscaling related is so you can conveniently escape further scrutiny and consequences. This still falls under manipulation since you’re fixing the word of what initially is powerscaling related into something that isn’t entirely powerscaling. Key word “entirely” there’s still elements of powerscaling embedded in these leading questions which you’re trying to turn subtle, miniature and less suspecting. If your questions or concerns really had nothing to do with powerscaling there would be no reason to make such a comment. In fact, it would make more sense had you not made any comments or taken any action of altering wording. Leading questions which lead to WOG have always been portrayed as bad. This is no exception and I find it hard to believe you wouldn’t know that. I’m sure you knew which is what gave you the idea to make countermeasures. Putting attention on “look” doesn’t make things look great either. Why would you emphasise that?

I’m also not going to let one or a few parts of the report get cherrypicked either. We concluded it’s jokes, memes and having fun so we can gloss past this no? It wasn’t even the main discussion. Not even close. The issue here is the fact that multiple users within that screenshot and even contributing in this very report have been caught doing things they shouldn’t have done. I’m certain all of you who partake in this group activity knew this wasn’t right either, pertaining to Zane’s Alex’s comment. What is there to get away with? So what I also don’t understand is that if you had even the slightest bit of guilty conscience, worries or hesitation why would you not consult staff? Any staff who’s well versed on WOG and leading questions would have given you a reliable and credible answer. I really don’t understand why doing the logical thing wasn’t thought of before even deciding to take action but if I’m wrong on that regard you can feel free to correct me. Please don't try to dismiss this as offsite behaviour. If that’s what you’re really trying to do then there would serve many contradictions and questions that I’m not even sure would be dismissible.

Even if we make it sure they are different, that won't stop them from sharing accounts. So a ban on one would be useless.
i promise to log out. you wont see me on anything non re zero related (since thats what iv noticed the og owner does). ill be logging out from this message hence forth since i dont want to ruin anything for og crimsonobu. adios

I am not entirely sure what you mean by the claim that. It essentially looks like:

'We are framing our questions to look like they aren't about powerscaling, so we can manipulate authors into giving the answers we seek for use on another wiki, not VSBW.'

Which wiki are you referring to that has such strict rules against powerscaling questions that you must go to these lengths to frame them as 'non-leading'? Whether other wikis allow WOG statements is irrelevant here. How can we trust that someone who is being dishonest on some other wiki and is being genuine here regarding the use of WOG? The members involved in manipulating these author statements are part of our community, I see no reason to believe they would only use these tactics on some mystery wiki while remaining perfectly honest here. Hitchens's Razor applies to claims that have no basis, however, given the circumstances and the specific wording of these offsite comment, I highly doubt that is the case here.

If they're not being used nor is there an attempt at making use of them on site, then no. It is many things but it isn't any of our concern how someone interacts with an author fully offsite.
I mean, if they are framed in such a way that they don't appear to be powerscaling questions then we can never guess if they were leading/powerscaling questions. And the intentions here looks highly suspicious to me if anything.
