They don't taking a special toll on the user's body or whatever. Heck, hogyoku helps the user…

The ability she's described imitating is a basic multiple limbs transformation from Luppi. Meanwhile the abilities she's described as unable to imitate are time hax, illusions and the Hogyoku. Couldn't this just be her ability having limits?

Tbh, mugetsu also had perception manip, darkness manip, death manip, ee, npi(ae(info type 1)) and she replicated all those. I really don't think her ability has a weakness towards certain abilities when nothing like it is stated. Also, didn't you say your concerns were about everyone in general having unconventional power mimicry resistance and said everything else in the safwy secrion should be fine?

Gremmy imagined him and the ability though. He controlled him in some form the entire time. He could literally have the ability rigged to not work on himself.

This is all but a possibility whose existence i don't deny, but there's nothing really implying it and considering gremmy's actual intelligence, i really don't think he imagined things to such a detail
