Marvel cosmology revision (Update and merging J.M. DeMatteis and main one)

Just an update: right now, Steve the current Scarlet Witch solo writer is bringing Nemesis, a character originally created by J.M., back as the villain in her solo run. That alone already makes it pretty clear there was never any cosmology split to begin with, not even once, unless it was explicitly stated.

Sorry about earlier I said it was confirmed that she’d show up as a villain in the Scarlet Witch solo run, but that was just a rumor. What is confirmed is that Nemesis was clearly mentioned in an interview, and honestly, I think that alone is more than enough.

I’ve already posted the interview info. The way Nemesis is described there is already pretty clear about which character it’s referring to. But if you’re still not convinced, we can just wait until all four issues of Sorcerer Supreme are out and see for ourselves.

Oh my god, this might be a misunderstanding. I think I once saw Nemesis being connected to J.M. DeMatteis, but he didn’t actually create her. Maybe he wrote an issue featuring her at some point? I’m honestly not sure. I really need to apologize for that. If anyone has solid info linking this character to J.M. DeMatteis, feel free to jump in and help I’m actively trying to track it down right now I’m really, truly sorry.

The Marvel character named Nemesis that I mainly remember is the original embodiment and creator of the Infinity Gems, which I think was created by Warren Ellis in an Ultraverse crossover, but Al Ewing later heavily hinted that the Infinity Gems were created when the Second Cosmos committed suicide, and the Warren Ellis character has uncertain canonicity, and Nemesis is also a common character name, so I am not sure if that is what is being referred to here.

Tbh (philip kennedy johnson, current hulk writer) used nexus of all realities and man-thing same one who J. M. DeMatteis were writing years ago in incredible hulk 2023 comics

I agree with the merge but the scaling should be done later. Oblivion is Dematteis second strongest character but in mainline cosmology he has been reduced to fodder.

I’m being serious I honestly feel like I want to tear up the Storm comic and throw it away. It’s just plain ugly, and it feels incredibly disrespectful to other writers.

I don't know if we should throw away the Storm comics right away, given that the "War Above All" story arc is coming out this month and Marvel seems to be following the weird hierarchy with the beings and entities capable to challenge the One Above All. Let's wait a bit.

Maybe I'm forgetting something, but hasn't the multiverse ever been mentioned in the recent Storm run? And all abstracts in that run are m-bodies. And writer of that run confirmed in Twitter or blsky what all abstracts are universal manifestations ( I send screenshot with his word in main marvel discussion long ago)
