Embodiment means ontological identity, not scientific mechanism. You are not claiming "Istaroth obeys quantum field theory", you are claiming Time exists as a conscious principle, which is exactly how gods and Shades are framed in Genshin’s metaphysics.

You dont need physics to know what a god is in a mythological universe. You need to read how reality itself is defined there, and in Teyvat, fundamental concepts exist as conscious beings which is the Shades themselves.

That's not necessarily how it works, you can create or become the embodiment of something without predating that something you embodies. Embodiment is merely an avatar of something/concepts.

Think of like the Logia Type Devil Fruit user from One Piece, once they eat their devil fruit, they become the embodiment of it. Like Kizaru is Light itself, Crocodile is Sand itself, and so on.

"Embodiment" does not mean “the concept only exists because you exist.”
embodiment means representing, manifesting, or serving as the living axis of something, not being the metaphysical cause of its existence.
