How is them filming with an incomplete script not a good point to complain about? That is literally bad filmmaking. Then again, I don't think you actually read my explanations on like, anything, whether it be in casual conversations or revisions. You just saw "I don't think Doomsday will be good"

I promise you, I will not be excited when I watch the trailer, I would bet money on that

If you disagree, cool, I don't care
"How is them filming with an incomplete script not a good point to complain about?"

That, I agree with. I also agree that bringing back the old cast reeks of desperation to retrieve the golden age after the debacle of the Multiverse Saga and the Kang deal (in no small part thanks to Jonathan Majors's...antics shall we say and Quantumania). The problem is they put all their cards on Kang and buildt him up as this huge threat but between Quantumania essentially destroying his status as an imposing villain (sorry not sorry, they might be super-intelligent ants but the fact remains the supposedly super powerful villain of the new MCU arc, supposedly even worse than Thanos, was defeated by ants) and the cast problem, they very clearly panicked and changed their course. I guess a recast could still be possible but as pointed out above, Majors was heavily associated with the character.

And then there's the other problem, aka the Multiverse saga which, unlike the Infinity Saga, lacked a clear and consistent path and went everywhere yet nowhere and multiplied new characters supposed to replace the old generation but were far less well-recieved for various reasons (some less justifiable and understandable). Not to mention extending the MCU to tv shows that are MANDATORY to understand what the hell was happening (imagine seeing Multiverse of Madness without Wanda & Vision and being like "WTF?" at Wanda's treatment in the movie). Bottom line, they felt confident they could extend the MCU even further but they did it the wrong way and went too far.

Like everything else though, I will wait to see at least a full trailer. Ironically, it could be a double-edged sword and even a good thing since it could give some more focus to the MCU. But whatever.

Same, I agree it's most likely a desperate move. But I'm also waiting for the trailer before I come up with a more solid opinion. I remember hearing about some of the leaks from Endgame and thinking part of the script was kinda ass lol. Yet when the final version movie came out, the moments that I disliked weren't as bad as I thought because how they shot and portrayed them. Now do I think this is risky af, absolutely. But while the Cap teaser gave me a meh, the info about Thor's teaser sparked my interest.

I think it's fine to be skeptical of whether the movie will be good or not, but while the filming with an incomplete script isn't a good indication. This isn't something unique to Doomsday. It was the same situation with Infinity War & Endgame. They shot both movies back-to-back without a finished script, and they were still working on finishing the writing for Endgame after IW had been released. Not saying the movie will be amazing, but this it isn't an absolute indicator of a bad movie yet.

Exactly. Personally, I've been played by movies based on trailers and info multiple times in the past (like thinking Ayer's Suicide Squad was going to be good, I remember looking the Bohemian Rhapsody trailer and thinking (How can this not be amazing" and then the actual movie was released) so now, I've taken the mindset of "I'll wait to actually see the thing".

To be fair, that happened to me as well. I remember being so disappointed with the final product. Never understood making a Suicide Squad movie where the main antagonist is a world ending god lol.

And one where Amanda Waller is stupid. And one where we acknowledge the existence of Batman and Flash yet we go for a guy who shoots bullets precisely, a boomerang, a psycho with a bat, a katana and a guy who makes fire who no longer makes fire to deal with a god-like villain. And one where the Squad are antiheroes. And for the Presence's sake, can we stop making stories about the Suicide Squad being supposed to take down Superman level foes? This is NOT what they're supposed to do.

A bit late but that will do

If Thor gets a metal arm I wonder what it would be made from ?
We can speculate on this; this scene is either from the end of the film or before the final fight (I think). I don't think it's Uru metal because there aren't any dwarves who could make it. Vibranium is more likely, but imagine the X-Men making Thor an adamantium arm.🫢

That would be unbelievably sick

Isn't Eitri still alive? He helped make Stormbreaker. Also, it's interesting you pointed out the metal arm, Old King Thor has a metal arm in the comics.

He is but I 100% doubt they would reuse the plot of him going there and crafting something since they already did it in infinity war

I agree, that would be pouring fuel on the Marvel has no more new ideas fire lol. I just thought [maybe mistakenly] that they were suggesting none of the Dwarves were still alive. That being said, I'd rather Thor not get an adamantium arm tbh but that's a personal taste thing. Also, I should note there are other metals they could use.

Before the secret wars event, Unworthy Thor also had a metal arm, but it was severed during his final battle against the Beyondar alongside Hyperion in the Time Running Out issue that preceded Secret Wars.

I remember that. Thor loves losing his arm lol. Though with Loki holding the multiverse with an Yggdrasil tree, I've heard people theorizing about Rune Magic.

Just like in the comics, Existence is now in the form of Yggdrasil, and the power of rune magic should be at a very high level; hopefully Marvel will use them with Thor.

ABSOLUTE PEAK! My beloved Avengers vs X-Men might be adapted into Doomsday 😍 😍 😍

I seriously wonder if this X-Men universe that Monica is in IS THE FOX UNIVERSE. It'd make perfect sense because Days of the Future Pasts' ending shows the X-Mansion actually thriving, in contrast to the OG timeline (before being rewritten in Doftp) being overrun by Sentinel's.

We see larger and bulkier Sentinels in the background of this teaser which look far different than the ones from Doftp. It could be the ones from Last Stand, or newer ones made by Doom.

My guess is that Doom will intentionally wreck havoc on the X-Men world, and likely manipulate them into thinking MCU-616 is responsible. That way, he can masquerade as a double-dealer.

I NEED SENTRY TO FIGHT THEM TOO💯💯💯 SENTRY VS JEAN GRAY OR PROFESSOR X WOULD BE INSANE

I want Evan Peters fox quicksilver to return and him and sentry fight and it ends up like that scene with Superman and flash in justice league movie
YOOOO FACTS! That'd be hilarious, but Quicksilver is getting beaten mad fast in that case 😂
Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if he broke his hands trying to punch Sentry.

I hope they do Cyclops vs Sam's Cap and OG Cap. The optic lasers bouncing off the shield would go SO HARD on the big screen. Plus, it'd remind us of this peak moment from Civil War:

Sadly I don’t think sentry will be in doomsday it’s probably only void

How strong are the x-men ?

Considering we've known since last year that Mystique will also be in the movie, I have doubts about these X-Men being the exact ones from the movies, unless someone's been messing with the timeline again.

Lol, I think the most out there character for Avengers Doomsday/Secret Wars, that I don’t expect [but am secretly hoping for is Legion since X-Men are involved]
