Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest Discussion Thread: Post-Void Saga

We're really about to be at 200 chapters. That's insane to think about. Pretty exciting too since Mashima knows how to make a big "hundred" chapter very impactful

Any predictions?
 
I just noticed this proof on Igneel page, that he was supposedly not weakened. I was struck. First of all, translation is just absolutely wrong and full of making things up out of literally nowhere. I know that translation shouldn't been literal, I am translator from japanese myself after all, but it still should follow the narrative. So the second thing is translation of this phrase was cut off context of entire dialog, in which Dragons talking about them used last of their strength to help humans. That is why Metallicana use "イグニールもまた" (Igneel also).

We already kinda saw it last chapter, but this chapter really just solidifies not only the E.N.D. plot point once more, but also Natsu's true ascension into the DG tier

Ok so Ignia yea? We found out his true plan a little while back and that was to have the secret 6th dragon god (long story) spread his roots across all of the continent of Guiltina through a massive labyrinth

This labyrinth was made for the sole purpose of turning everyone on the continent into dragons and recreating the age of the dragons with The True Dragon King Festival

We also get the reveal that the Labyrinth was actively suppressing all of the Dragon gods' power (even Ignia's) for the entire manga up until this point. So Ignia started his plan and not only turned the entire population of the continent into dragons but this also revived all of the deceased dragon gods (except the 6th) and forced the alive dragon gods into their dragon forms with all of them now with their true uninhibited full power

So Aldoron being one of the revived ones was just recently no diffed by Natsu in his newest form. This being Aldoron's full power now and Natsu actually destroying the giant dragon body of course

And now Natsu is going blow for blow with Ignia and an Evil Version of Faris with Acnologia's power and Black Magic like Zeref

Damnnn, can you give me these chapter numbers? Also what’s the name of Natsu’s new power up? I’m assuming it’s related to Ignia, Igneel or END.

Well I'd prefer it if picked up the manga from where you left off, but if you just wanna peep the specific chapters of all these events it's 161,162, 163, 164, 178, 194, 195, 197, 198, 200 and 201

And there's not technically an official name for the form, but so far it's been referenced as King's Fire and Selene calls Natsu a Demon Dragon

Why are the dragon gods equal to Acnologia, if only his hand made it possible to compete with Ignia and Natsu, who easily defeated Aldoron, which should not have happened if they were equal?

Elefseria who has extensive knowledge on the suppressed strength of the Dragon gods, compared them to directly to pre space between time Acnologia. The current Dragon gods are for stronger than their suppressed selves.

It's never stated she only has access to only the power in that arm, she just has his dragon slaying abilities and element, combined with her own power, she scales to these buffed dragon god level characters
 
Unrelated, but id also like to point out how interesting it is that the top dragons related characters of the series have very similar face and body markings 👀
 
All I know is that Base Natsu currently folds Erza, is far above all of the Dark Dragon Slayer Knights, and can physically duke it out with Sealed Dragon Form Dragon Gods
