Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Discussion Thread 20

Volume 2 when the clowns shows up
That was literally "additional details" as to charybdis's revival, not something that outright contradicts the WN plot-line.

Besides, this is what the author said so too, that the MAIN plot is the same. The only differences are the extra side stories and additional details:
AFTERWORD
Hello there! Fuse here. First of all, I’d like to thank you for picking up this book.
This volume is a heavily revised, rewritten, and expanded version of a story originally released on the web. This work, as I’m sure some of you know, is still being released on syosetu.com, a Japanese language website for online novelists and storytellers. The side story and other extra material in this particular book are all original to this volume, crafted for followers of the web version to enjoy.
If this is a completely new tale to you, I’d like to suggest that you check out the web version as well. The main plot is the same between both versions, but you’ll also find a fair number of differences here and there, so I imagine it could be fun to compare the two for yourself.
This is the first time I’ve ever written an afterword, and figuring out what I should write in it has made me slightly nervous. As a result, I suppose I should write a word or two of thanks to the original forces that brought this book to life.
AFTERWORD
This is Fuse. Good to see you—for the first time, or not. I’m once again tasked to write an afterword for this book, so I thought a bit about what I should write. I’m the kind of person who likes reading the afterword first, and there are times when I commit to buying a book based on what I see there. I mean, it’s rare for me to decide against a purchase because of that, but there are at least a few times when the afterword made me think “Yeah, let’s go with this!” So even though this is just the second afterword I’ve ever written, the process is already starting to make me nervous.
This second volume is a revised edition of the original web version, with a bunch of rewrites and additions to cover things that didn’t get enough attention online. I was planning to write a bonus chapter for this volume as well, but we wound up adding so much to the main text that we ran out of pages and I had to give up on it.
The story still uses the web version as a base, diving even deeper into the story than ever before and even going in completely different directions. How did you like it? If you’re familiar with the original, hopefully you’ll see it as a much deeper tale than before. It’d be nice if I managed that, at least.
Speaking of that, I have now officially completed the web version of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. I have a few ideas for extra content and side stories to tackle, but either way, it’s done. Now it’s time to work on the published editions, and I hope to continue receiving your support as I wend my way through this!
There are probably similar statements in TenSura X in the Convo between I-san and Fuse, so I'll look into those later too. But the point is the same, those little differences count as additional details. And the differences are so small that it doesn't really contradict the WN at large. And as Fuse himself said, during these volumes, he was using the WN as a base for the LN version, expanding it basically.

How Chloe looks at Veldanava after he feels the changes in time

I do wonder, if Fuse will connect the Magicule Breeder Reactor back to Nihility Collapse like he did in the WN. Because if he does, then I can fully see Veldanava with Breeder Reactor VS Rimuru.

Fuse: The world itself is a large planet. Enemies might even attack from outer space. But the Central World is stronger. It's called the "Cardinal World" for a reason; it's the center of the center. I quite like SF.
Is this means that the cardinal planet/earth is larger than our planet/Mikami Satoru's planet/earth?

Will that give us 5-A tier
For planetary level destruction feats which ones implying cardinal planet/earth, we can calculate and use the GBE of a Uranus sized earth (should be slightly higher than base 5-A). This would also make the calculations for 6-B and 6-A quite low-ball.

There is also an extra reason to use this 5-B calculation istead of 6-A calc.

If Veldanava and Ivarage shares the same goal, do you think they fuse into one being? From writing point of view it's easier to write 1v1 than 1v2
Nah
It seems ivarage is fighting milim and Veldanava is fighting rimuru its 1v1.
And it seems both won their battles against Veldanava and Ivarage

You didn't even take the universe part but the planet part huh
All want is unrestricted Prime Ramiris (Idc how strong she is) I don't want her dependant on Rimuru that shit was ass
She actually has a major role against fighting ivarage

Now that I think about it
Wouldn't a fight between veldanava and rimuru destroy the world lmao
For **** sake ivarage vs milim too would destroy the world so where will they fight?

Good for you.

I wish I could also do that, but any agenda I support seems to get shit on by Fuse.
Just support benimaru's agenda it seems from the illustrations he will get "the top 3 among rimuru's subordinates" treatment and will get rimuru's cells and imaginary collapse too

Seriously at this point rimuru's cells >>>>>>>> hashirama's cells

No thank you.

I'm very much opposed to Benimaru being in the top three, although it's a given, looking at the web novel and all the stuff happening in the light novel.

And to be honest I'm starting to dislike Rimuru's top three more and more.

Damn Benimaru will probs solidly be > Shion the way things looking
I wanted the primordials girls be above benimaru and get rimuru's cells and imaginary collapse they deserved more they helped and played bigger rule in this war and empire war than benimaru plus I think they will have better control over it than benimaru but oh well he's fuse favorite child

Real love and hate that guy does no one justice but benimaru
Nah Diablo and Zegion also got much glazing these last few volumes.

And Milim too, aside from being controlled by Feldway.

Honestly one character, who really suffers, aside from the ones I support, is Velgrynd.

She got nothing but L's these past few volumes.

I mean I think that was always pretty obvious.

Benimaru was always stronger than Shion. She's a wildcard, but was never really in the top three. At least from volume 13 onwards.
After she became a digital lifeform and got Susanoo I thought it was debatable. I'd assume (?) her EP shouldn't be too far off from Benimaru's at that point but that's speculation on my end since we haven't been shown her EP after becoming a DL. Ah well though...

Does anyone know if the final volume has that?

No you're probably right about that, she even got specific Diablo and Zegion counters in her us, but Benimaru is a better fighter than her and she is not withstanding a 'prominence acceleration'.

And I don't think we'll get any of their EP values tbh.
