I hope Volume 23 will be worth the wait.

Friends, can you try guessing what might happen in this volume?

As for me, I think Rimuru will lose, and for some reason he’ll gain a new power — maybe [Lord of Creation Ahura Mazda] or perhaps some kind of Origin Skill.
And in the later chapters, it might be a story about Veldanava’s world-creation, or maybe Rimuru will create a new world himself, which could help the cosmology get upgraded in the future.

Just as I said before no way rimuru will lose
Maybe he will lose like in the beginning but then he will get some power up and then rimuru defeat them no way fuse will make rimuru lose especially in the final fight of the story
It's something similar to how the empire was winning in volume 14 and then in volume 15 tempest made a comeback and defeated the empire

Yuuki shit his pants and asked Rimuru what he is. So Rimuru started his monologue and ate him. What Rimuru said is open for interpretation (which I hate because I like having everything clear) but considering he mentioned Veldanava, Rimuru and Satoru before, he didn't used any of those names. Idk maybe he said he is Fuse or even Gobta-sama.
 
Now that I think about it the chance of rimuru getting even more power up is actually possible
in wn fuse showed us rimuru's growth in power in his human form in the beginning he was 7 years old child

after eating orc Lord he looked like 10 years old child

after becoming demon lord he became like 12 years old

then after becoming the ultimate slime he looked like teenage girl

and in the end when came back from end of space and time to fight yuuki he looked like adult woman

all these changes was fuse making to show us rimuru's growth in power and it's also the same thing in ln if remember correctly in ln in previous volume his human form didn't look different from before and still the teenage girl form yet right?

Then maybe in this volume rimuru will get more power up that will lead to his adult human form

They think he’ll be resurrected after he’s eaten, just like I did. In doing so, the memories would be inherited, so whether or not the personality would change was simply not a matter of concern.
