The hospital setting slightly favors Valentine. As a master of Medical Ninjutsu and a former Anti-Skullgirl operative, she is intimately familiar with medical equipment, chemical storage, and the layout of such facilities (especially one related to Lab Zero, which she served). She can use the environment for cover, traps, and perhaps even resupply her syringe poisons.

Marshall's raw power is significantly higher (6.55 x 10^15 Joules) than Valentine's (1.46 x 10^13 Joules). This means Marshall hits harder and can tank slightly more damage before the fight becomes a pure war of attrition.

Valentine, knowing the environment, will use the hospital's interior (like rooms, corridors, or corners) to break the line of sight and close the distance, using her stealth and possibly her Teleportation (if she can still activate it in a burst). Marshall will use his Superhuman Senses and Precognition to track her movements and anticipate her path. Looks to me that Marshall's victory is secured by his internal resilience, which is unmatched by Valentine, he has the will to never give up and take immense pain—along with his Soul Manipulation attacks.

He will fight through the debilitating effects of Valentine's poisons and physical damage, preventing her from ever capitalizing on an opening (it says he also resits Poison Manipulation).
