but i do agree the internet ( at least powerscaling) lost the ability to keep it crisp and short

If some dragonballl fans felt attacked by my other comment about DB/OP guys not being able to read, ive heard that joke a lot in power scaling discussions, but wasnt sure where the meme originally came from ^^ I just have a strong feeling its dragonball cause after watchting the beerus/goku fight, its crystal clear where they scale but ive seen like hundred if not thoudsands of debunks from fans or pseudo fans

Looking at our pages, it seems like we haven't had a new character profile for Xenoverse since Fu was established in 2018. This is the probably the most interesting addition to XV since him in that respect.

Most likely, and he destroyed Conton City because of Fu miscalculation thinking Frieza would just get corrupted.
 
greeaaaat read so far and i loved how Roshi trolls them cus he knows both kids already have good fighting fundamentals XD what hes actually doing without them noticing is developing their minds, which is very useful!! Roshi is such a pervert troll, but a very,very smart one!

me already further along in my reading but one thing i havent seen anywhere in all of powerscaling ... Gokus nose is as strong as a dogs^^

Pretty sick showcasing Time Power in these sort of meta ways. Though I do wonder the exact implications of us somehow fighting him with sub-Raditz level power and basic ki skills. Also him maintaining his Time Power by stealing Shenron's Energy. Does that mean he gained wish granting or that his even more enhanced Dark Ki is letting him resist his history changing back or something?

So like does this second quote imply that Ultra Supervillian Shenron wasn't just changing the point that branches off into all the Frieza variants, but like actually trying to alter all the Frieza timelines individually? Like if the Time Patrol wasn't fixing history and saving him he would of like directly made endless variants of Freiza with Time Power?

Seemingly, yeah. It's even made note that he's specifically doing so in the past, so it's also affecting all branches off points too. Frieza would have been born a God, and then always been a God, and thus all the branching timelines from them would make even more God Frieza(s). Hence why they have to fix the Scrolls to fix the root issue so that there wouldn't be an epidemic.

One thing I noticed is that this variant of Frieza was taken from the middle of the Broly Movie where he had recruited Paragus but hadn't killed him yet. The Frieza that appeared in the Big Bang Mission of SDBH was also Frieza: BR, aka Frieza from the Broly Movie. That should technically make them the same before their interactions with their respective Fu. Then since Frieza could handle the Ultra Supervillian Crystal but not the upgraded Dark Dragon Ball, we can maybe use that to say BBM Dark Shenron has more dark ki than USV Shenron.
Though I guess it's possible that Frieza's energy and powers boosted the dark ki far beyond the crystal by itself, and I'm not really sure if more layers actually means more dark ki / wish power. There's also the fact that despite the same greater multiverse I'm not sure if these Friezas actually are the exact same despite coming from the same story event. Also also XV Frieza was able to adapt to the energy by itself before taking the full crystal, so he maybe couldn't handle it if he was given the crystal from the get go. Interesting to think about I guess.

Oh, this training method (dodging moving objects like bees) is actually a real boxing training technique.

DBs martial arts philosophy is top-tier. There arent any good boxing gyms around here, so my brother and I stuck with Muay Thai and Sanda. My oldest brother is a decorated wrestler. Dragonballl was actually the reason we all started training in martial arts, it taught us the value of proper strength training and the importance of the right mindset, and the things outside the ring like school and a job.

My brothers helped me improve a lot - like defending against people trying to shoot for my hips and **** my hips in for a TD, and one of them likes to fight just outside jabbing range, drawing opponents in and working with counters and mid-range setups and trained him how to close distance efficiently against aggressive cage wrestlers, small details make a big difference.

A lot of guys owe him a lot, and I think most people dont realize how good Toriyama really is.
Toriyama was a fan of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and kung fu movies in general and they were absolute legends. Im a big Bruce Lee fan too, especially because he emphasized fast, sharp punches and side kicks to the knee. The latter one is crazy, because now we know how effective those really are in modern combat sports and he was teaching that decades ago :D Theres a reason so many pro fighters and coaches admire Bruce Lee.

I initially thought a Namekian Physiology page wouldn't be allowed because of how few Namekians are on the Wiki, but then I remembered Kami and King Piccolo were characters, and the latter had three offspring. And, also, Moori has a page for some reason.
 
Me not really understanding all the rants about Roshis training just being strength training. Sports in general are pretty similar, at the end of the day you want to help someone reach their best, both physically and most importantly, in terms of mindset!^^

That scene of goku and that large mass of stones the second time, reminds me a lot my soccer coach and a very close friend

My soccer coach kept him focused because he wanted to help him develop his mindset. A lot of soccer players from the first and second divisions are on the same level ... what really makes the difference is their mindset. Not saying on the level of Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo or Fabio Cannavaro, they are the exception, not the rule^^

When Goku pushed the first big rock, Roshi was like "what the hell?" Then he told him to push an even bigger one .... which Goku failed to do xD The reason Roshi did that was to give him a new challenge so he could keep Goku grounded and help developing his mindset^^ skipping forward: it wasnt until Tien showed up that he realized his role in keeping things in check was no longer needed!!!!!!!!!!!

Toriyama kept it crisp and short, all the rants about Roshi being a bad martial arts teacher and just a "bodybuilder coach" are so far from the truth… Did they even pay attention when they read it?

No, Katchin is the "hardest metal in the universe" (宇宙で一番堅い uchū de ichiban katai). Structural strength does not directly correlate with density; for example, the hardest metal in the real world, chromium (7.192 g/cm^3) is at least twice as hard as the densest metal, osmium (22.59 g/cm^3).

We have 7 Namekian profiles (10 if we include mutated Namekians). That should be enough for a physiology page.

I'd say Dende is just the stronger of the two, period. Shenron's capability is directly proportional to his creator's. Given Shenron has seemingly more power/function now than he did in the past, Dende is probably more potent.
 
I think it's pretty noteworthy how the adolescent Dragon Clansmen Namekians had Battle Powers of over 3,000, presumably without any significant combat training. I wonder if there's some databook statement out there I could use to scale Post-Potential Unlock Dende to them.
