• Acrobatics (Hypermobility), Martial Arts & Weapon Mastery (Umamusume are shown to be proficient in Boxing, Sumo, Judo, Kickboxing, Fencing, and Archery)

And this is Haru's justification. She's trained to use her LS advantage in combat. She can also amp her speed and reduce Satoru's speed.

MR may not outskill but he may outlast by an ass ton. He took casual attaks from DSK and Garou albeit was seriously injured (because they're 7-C lmfao). He ain't no wuss tho I'll give him that. If a 7-C can seriously injure him yet he got back up from attacks by Deep Sea King, I don't think Satoru would be dying from another 9-B character.

Huh, yeah there is that. Will admit I was just vibe-scaling here. Haru genuinely a little kid who is unable to say "prestigious" and flunked an entrance exam while Mumen is HIM.

Every single Uma is trained in Sumo and Judo, both of which are martial arts that utilize LS. You can't really assume what she would or wouldn't do in a fight since Umamusume isn't a verse centered around combat.

I just added some minor justifications for the stat reductions and now I see people arguing using the previous edits, my timing is so ass.

That said I don’t really think Haru will go with chokeholds tbh. Though energy exertion and pain tolerance are classified as two different things so the stamina debuff skills might work?

He should lose some stamina by the time he starts fighting DSK because of the bicycling ig. But continuing to fight even after being severely injured is pain/injury tolerance, the debuff skills reduce the other trait.
