Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

Okay, I agree calling Voidnether's argument pathetic is stirring things up, and Voidnether responding with a direct insult was a clear escalation. I'd say this is way too mutual to declare a particular side to be right, but Voidnether definitely escalated highest.
I suppose that a warning for each of them seems fine, yes.
I'd suggest a warning for both of them and maybe a block so they don't see each other's posts.
I can make them not see each other's posts anymore if they accept it.

Thank you for helping out. 🙏

Yeah no, this comment is warranted a warning tbh

So the first thing he does when he disappears for over 2 years was to commit verbal slander... Is the first time he's getting reported?

That's bad behaviour. Strict warning for sure.

Is somebody willing to give an official warning and update our warning tracker please? 🙏

@Vietthai96 warning:
Total has also been a rude person in the past for no reason alongside dragongod all because they are throwing a tantrum regarding a downgrade for DxD which is hugely annoying and we are sick of it

They're doing it again.

From what I have seen, usually a week or two.

Repeated behavior can however, result in even longer bans.
He has been very rude however in the past and even recently gotten a warning for a sarcastic remark. If u seen what how he been in the past (a bit more then 2 months) then you’ll agree for something a bit more

I was moreso talking about general rule violations of this nature.

I understand being upset by such things, but these threads are basically spamming the forum. Has the person been warned to stop it?

According to the warning tracker, TotalMasterInfinity has no past warnings or bans. They were warned, however, on the cosmology thread shortly before by Vietthai96 for provoking comments.

I'm inclined to be sympathetic, as I do just see this as someone being quite upset and thus acting inappropriately in the moment. However, considering that they have continued in disruptive behaviour despite being warned against it, I believe a ban of at least a few days to both prevent further incidents and to give them an opportunity to mellow their feelings on the matter is in order.

Errr, no, I think a short ban is pushing it here. While I understand being annoyed, this doesn’t really seem like a case of someone being intentionally malicious or trying to disrupt the forum as a whole. Rather, it looks like the user is venting their frustration in a provocative way due to disagreement over the DxD issues (Scaling DxD lol). They’re clearly being rude and dismissive, yes, but their behaviour is clearly emotionally charged and reactionary rather than outright harmful. A strict warning, with a threat to a ban is much more fair.

I don't think it is overextending, considering they were already warned regarding this matter and have not shown any intent to stop engaging in it. I'm not sure what we expect another warning for the same matter to achieve. But input from others is welcome.

I agree with Vzearr mostly. Why don't we try a strict warning, and only if they persist we issue a short ban for a just a couple days, long enough to calm down a bit?

This person is upset rather than hostile, and seems to just need time to calm down.

To be exact, while those Tier 11 DxD threads was the product of emotion, which i agree with. In in cosmology downgrade thread, TotalMasterInfinity had already throwing tantrum, probably he act like that due to another DxD downgrade thread before this one. Of course this is just to provide information, other than that i'm fine with a warning, if other staffs decide for a ban, few days is fine to me since he still have yet to do anything harmful, and just throwing tantrum.

Though if we settle for a warning, probably should thread ban him for a while i guess

That doesn't seem that serious to me. It's angry, but that's all.

This I can relate to, it might be an idea to ban them from making DxD threads for a short while.

I agree with DarkGrath, he may be stressed about it, but his methods of venting out frustrations are indeed very provocative. He desperately needs a short ban to cool off for sure.

I can see the reasoning behind this. I guess it depends on whether they stop now. If not, short ban might need to happen.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5
the user do seem to be overly rude at times
personally, i that making an exact thread that was previously closed by a staff member is a direct disrespect on said staff decision
Okay, the stuff calling people fools is kind of bad (1), and the rants generally seem minor but persistent (2, 3 and 4). Calling BFF a liar (5) seems pretty bad though.

Is somebody in our staff willing to give them a final warning please? If that does not work, we can ban them for a week or so. 🙏
