I don't think there were ever any statements to suggest that Wonder Man isn't set in the main universe. Plus, it features the return of Trevor Slattery, with his previous stint as the Mandarin being referenced in the trailer. It was also confirmed months ago that Agent Cleary would be returning, which suggests that Damage Control will have a role in the series.
Yeah I looked at the teaser in the background photos of captain America and L&T Thor can be seen so it takes place current mcu

what is the plot of wonder man supposed to be anyway?

Well, Eternals and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special already established that Superman and Batman exist as fictional characters in the MCU...

It's probably not impossible, but if getting even a cameo worked out was so tricky that the idea was scrapped, I could only imagine how complicated a full movie collaboration between the two studios would presumably be.

Made a blog for zombie Thanos, mostly for giggles since unfortunately I don't think there's enough material to give him a profile. But this was such a missed opportunity in the series, I wish he had more screen time. Also, he's missing range but anyway

Maybe a "What if...?" key for MCU Thanos? you could add in type 2 immortality and a form of corruption to the mix as well, he does have the feat of beating Infinity War Thor (Stormbreaker) unlike his main timeline counterpart. Possibly enough to warrant indexing?

I do agree Zombie Thanos could've done more but after one-shotting Thor and was gradually learning to use his powers, the suspension of belief that Spiderman, Black Pather (without a leg) and Ant-Man (just a head) could've stalled him wouldn't of work without a plot contrivance.

There are multiple variants of Thanos in What if?... so it would be too vague to simply add that. Plus, even if we simply went for a "Zombie" key, profiles are about a specific version of the character. That's why ST Agatha and WI Agatha have different profiles after all, same for Strange and his variants or Wanda and her WI counterpart (and possibly the zombie one if she gets a profile). So zombie Thanos would really have to get his own profile since it's a different version of Thanos with a different history

I'm also planning to make blogs for Queen Hela, teenage Hela for the immersive game and post-Emergence Mysterio

True. Peter openly states in his narration the only reason they could go that far was because Thanos had lost his mind and he was already learning how to use his abilities at an alarming rate so and borderline invincible. Maybe if they had simply given him four or three Stones (like Power, Space and Reality or Soul), it could have been more interesting. And in the latter case, it could have allowed us to see more of the Soul Stone. I mean, it's the ONLY Stone we didn't have a movie dedicated to and of which we didn't see specific ability, even in What if?, it's never really used that much. The max we saw was Thanos using it to detect Strange's soul on Titan. Everytime a Stone is important to the plot and shows new abilities, it's always the Space Stone or the Mind Stone. Like, come on, you can do cool stuff with soul manip. Astral projection, life force draining, necromancy. Don't simply set it aside. Or as the Nostalgia Critic says

Stormbreaker's profile: "Overpowered the combined blast of the 6 Infinity Stones, mortally wounded Thanos and later casually decapitated him."

Zombie Thanos: "Desintegrated Stormbreaker with just a blast from the Power Stone"

Damn, I hate this series so much.

I mean it’s just a different set of a stones and a different Stormbreaker what made the axe as strong as it was is the enchantments placed on it there isn’t any evidence zombies verse received the same enchantment

What enchamtment lol.

And this is a What If episode, the entire concept of it is that everyone that was exactly the same as the original timeline except ONE thing, and that's when the split happens. So it's just a nonsense no matter what.

What enchamtment lol.
Stormbreaker is enchanted by magic lol

Nope the split happened I can’t remember if it was days or weeks but just before infinity war meaning before Stormbreakers creation meaning it is no longer on the predetermined path HeWhoRemains set it to be on each universe is stated to be different saying it’s the exact same axe is head canon and blatantly shown not to be the case in zombies verse as they have a weaker axe

Different axe different set of stones different universe

Stormbreaker is enchanted by magic lol
Stormbreaker isn't Mjolnir, in the movie they said the axe was just that strong, and when Thor almost died it "connected" to him, something that we know it happened since, lol, he can summon it and control it as he wishes.

Dude, that's not how it works.
The events of the zombie outbreak wouldn't affect what happened on space, and that's exactly what was shown since all of Thor's journey to get Stormbreaker happened the same with the same results: Him arriving to Wakanda with Rocket, Groot and a new weapon. The timelines follow a course of events except fora specific moment, but everything else remains the same.

thor doesn’t have the ability to connect and control metal lol only special made weapons like mjolnir Stormbreaker etc Stormbreaker is enchanted it’s factually stated to be enchanted it can literally summon the bifrost a regular block of metal can not summon the bifrost lol Stormbreaker is literally alive dude it has its own thoughts and feelings

Stop trying to argue if you don’t know what your talking about the axe is enchanted with magic stated to be enchanted and shown to be enchanted

Dude, that's not how it works.

Dude yes that’s how it works there is no same results the sacred timeline is predetermined and crafted by HeWhoRemains every event was forged by him the split in zombies happens before infinity war meaning it is no longer on that path and is in completely unique and uncharted territory

What the **** does that have to do with what I said? Thor's power is what empowers Stormbreaker, sure, the axe is powerful by itself and of course it's magical, but it's "connected" to Thor the same way Mjolnir is.

Lmao.

You gotta be kidding me, dude.
Or course Stormbreaker is magical, but it's also empowered by Thor's own power and viceversa.

Dude, every alternate universe in the MCU follows the same structure as the main universe, that's literally the whole purpose of the concept of What If.
"Everything is exactly the same, except one detail" and that was explained in Loki and the Watcher.

Stop acting like this, would ya? This is just the writers not knowing shit about their job, as usual.

Thor uses the axe to focus his own power doesn’t give Stormbreaker its power it’s already enchanted hence why it can summon the bifrost something Thor nor any other normal weapon can do mjolnir is also enchanted it’s flat out stated the numerous different enchantments place upon the hammer is what made it near indestructible

I mean you don’t know what your talking about then stop trying to argue dude the axe is stated to be enchanted by magic that’s literally the end of the conversation lol no evidence zombies verse has the same enchantments and we blatantly see it doesn’t as the axe is weaker

You gotta be kidding me, dude.

It’s not powered up by Thor he uses it to focus his own power but that is different from its own abilities it’s already has its own unique abilities different from Thor via the magic it was given its not just a regular piece of metal lol

Wrong the entire concept of the mcu stated time and time again is everything is possible In multiverse and every universe is different any universe that isn’t the sacred timeline does not have the predetermined and crafted path set by HeWhoRemains

Of course Stormbreaker it's magical, I literally said that a couple of times already, man, read before replying the same thing.
The pont is that Stormbreaker in the What If episode is also enchanted, since literally summoned Bifrost as well, it helped Thor to recover from his injuries and all of that same shit.
its not just a regular piece of metal lol
Literally no one said that.
Wrong the entire concept of the mcu stated time and time again is everything is possible In multiverse and every universe is different any universe that isn’t the sacred timeline does not have the predetermined and crafted path set by HeWhoRemains.
We've seen versions of alternates timelines being at the same level as the canon versions, such as Rogers vs Rogers in EndGame, Loki and Sylvie, and Mjolnir from the past being on par with canon Thanos thanks to "having the power of Thor"
I mean there are multiple in universe explanations for what happened
No, that's not it works for the love of God.

And even if it did, then a featless Stormbreaker can't classify as 5-B, since that comes from later movies.

And where is the proof it got the exact same enchantments being able to summon the bifrost isn’t proof because there’s more then 1 enchantment placed on the axe show a statement it got the exact same ones also it never helped Thor heal his injuries Thor had no injuries lol none of that was shown in screen

We've seen versions of alternates timelines being at the same level as the canon versions, such as Rogers vs Rogers in EndGame, Loki and Sylvie, and Mjolnir from the past being on par with canon Thanos thanks to "having the power of Thor"
Some doesn’t mean all lol there are numerous scaling that isn’t valid and this site doesn’t accept from what if because of scaling it would break example

No, that's not it works for the love of God.
Exactly how it works stated time and time again

What does that even mean nobody is trying to scale zombie verse Stormbreaker anywhere only main universe stormbreaker has feats and statements for its scaling the only scaling that axe has is cutting zombie thanos who tanked black panthers vibranium claws

I can't get over how he was both ineffective enough to where he lost to Spider-Man, Black Panther missing a leg, and Ant-Man's flying head, but could still take out Thor, Rocket, and Groot in one attack unlike his Sacred Timeline counterpart 😭

Good render btw, I didn't know he had one

All 6 infinity stones just to take out 1 planet single planet is still a crazy ending 😭😭

Tbf Thor and co just charged in a straight line without thinking. Still bruh

Actually found a lot there, including for the Infinity Witch (the Wanda variant who has a What if? profile)

Still makes more sense than Infinity Hulk struggling against even Thor or Wanda (and I'm not even that much of a Hulk fan, I'm still glad Zeus beat the crap out of him and I like that he's not the strongest but this was complete BS and I'm still salty zombie outbreak Thor got zombified. The Wanda plot armor just to make a her a primary character is infuriating)

Wanda wasn’t even impressive in the show but you would expect with all 6 stones to do something more then 1 planet lol

Depends if the energy is controlled and what people want to do with it. I was under the impression Wanda was controlling it to a degree so she could have limited the range of the blast. Anyway, this is stupid

Why should could limit it what exactly is her goal ? to warp 1 planet? Why not the universe there’s so many things that makes no sense

I've been watching a complete playthrough of the What if...? An Immersive Story vr game to see if I could find some stuff to make a teenage Hela blog. All I could think of was "Man, this should have been a whole What if season, the individual stories are so good"

I wonder why it’s so complicated they would make a killing at the box office with a crossover and both companies like money
Because they would have to share their intellectual property with their direct competitors. They also aren't exactly friends, the 2 companies are huge competitors trying to outcompete the other constantly

There's also a lot of issues that would come with this. Who would get the bulk of the money made from the movie? Will each company gain access to new IPs? If someone records the movie & posts it to Youtube, who is the one that copyright strikes them? Would Marvel or DC get that money? Or would they have to split it? Giving up 50% of your profits to your direct competition doesn't seem like the best idea from a buisness standpoint

What about toy sales? Would Marvel make money from a Batman figurine from the movie? Or what about streaming? Would DC make money from the film being streamed on Disney+? Would we have to put DC movies on Disney+ since they're canon to Marvel now? What do you do next after the big crossover movie? After a big crossover like this, returning to the individual universes would feel way less special & straight-up might drop sales after the crossover

But the real reason is because a former executive of DC Comics, Dan DiDio, made that pretty much impossible after Marvel & DC's last crossover. Dan DiDio even said himself that Marvel is their rivals, and that by crossing over with them, they pretty much admit defeat since they're acknowledging that their universe isn't good enough to stand on its own & they need the assistance of another company. Is that true? I don't think so, but that's why DC doesn't want to crossover with Marvel and why we probably won't get a crossover movie anytime soon

The movie would be a money printer, and I'd give anything to see it, but it's just not going to happen anytime soon

The movie would be a money printer, and I'd give anything to see it, but it's just not going to happen anytime soon

Yeah, this probably plays into why a lot of crossover films tend to be with properties/companies that aren't quite as huge as DC and Marvel

When two big properties and companies collaborate, it's a very complicated process

Also, just a reminder that after FFH, the MCU almost LOST SPIDER-MAN because Disney was trying to take more money from Sony. If they're willing to milk cash from Sony, imagine what they'd try to pull with WB 😭

Yeah but dc and marvel have already done crossovers for comics and stuff I’m sure if they wanted too they would be able to figure something out especially cause both feige and Gunn are on good terms

Yeah but dc and marvel have already done crossovers for comics and stuff

Those aren't handled the same way a film crossover would be. Comics are a totally different form of media and they're much easier to handle crossovers with

Movies like with the DCU and MCU? Not at all that easy

ThePrimalHunter covered it perfectly above
