I also recall the Eternals Director saying Ikaris vs Captain Marvel would be a good fight sometime after the movie came out (in an interview).

To summarize she did say Ikaris would win (because of bias, which she funnily admitted), however, she did say that Carol's Binary Mode would make the fight "tough".

Eternals producer Nate Moore also once made a similar statement on the potential matchup of Captain Marvel vs. Thena:

There’s so many interesting fights in this show I hope they don’t fumble it like captain carter show and we also get cool visuals of the high tiers I’m tired of a fight between high tiers looking street tier most the time

But yeah the two egos are exactly the same and no he’s not awakened Thor it’s pre awakened and he didn’t really do any damage besides knock him back

For reference, the first trailer released to the public for Infinity War came out about 4 and a half months after it wrapped filming. If Doomsday follows a similar pattern, it could potentially have a trailer released for the Super Bowl next year.
The less ideal scenario is that Disney follows a similar approach to their big December movie for this year, Avatar: Fire and Ash, and only releases the first trailer online five months before release (which would be right before Spider-Man: Brand New Day releases)
