Premise​

I'd like this verse to be deleted and reworked by it's supporters and me.​

Reasoning​

1. Almost every calculation is wrong. A recent thread by me goes into depth regarding speed calculations, and why every calculation expect 1 is wrong.

AP calculations are also bad, even basic ones like "breaking a rock" are wrong. This calculation is wrong, the volume estimation is bunk, the shape is more so, a rectangle, removing 10 percent of it's volume for the side that makes it uneven. It looks nothing like a hemispherical bowl.

The character profiles are wrong, leading to several CRT'S trying to fix them. Almost all of these in the last month, hell, this doesn't even include all of the crt's made this month.

Genshin supporters accepting the verse should be deleted.

Overall, this verse is in the gutters, and should be started anew.

With the staff's help in evaluating this verse, and help from the supporters, we can revamp the verse.

Alternate Solutions​

1. Another solution would be to lock the verse as we rework it. This wouldn't be as good as deleting it as the verse would have 100 crt's and staff would have to unlock the pages after every crt. It's flawed.

2. Another solution would be to only allow experienced members to participate in the revamping of the verse. As the verse struggles with valid calculations, and abilities. The minimization of newer members would help in making more accurate deductions.

It’s their will but it ruins the verse therefore we can ban it as making low quality profiles is against wiki policy. We don’t have to remake explanation pages if they’re fine, but a lot of other stuff needs remaking because it’s plain wrong.

Yeah but the problem comes from the fact that their statistics are wrong, cause most calculations for this verse themselves is just inherently bad that it shouldn't even warrant them that high. Take the Yashiori Island calculation in which I've had a problem due to inflated it is and the FIRST EVER calculation for that were based off someone trying to use the actual size of Teyvat because obviously in-game isn't inconsistent as the actual size of Teyvat but this after this: It just leads to more inflated ratings whatsoever.

I'll take my stance here, whilst the verse and its profiles shouldn't be deleted: It still doesn't change the fact that the statistics are wrong, even their Powers & Abilities are wanked so much to the point a regular Genshin player could check on the Elemental Manipulation page for Genshin Impact and notice how wanked they truly are and MOST of those are literally taken out of context. Ley Lines Manipulation, Elemental Authority, Elemental Lifeform Physiology, Mystic Arts and Harbinger Abilities that somehow warrants BDE1.

I don't support the deletion of the verse because it's too much of a hassle, but I support locking ALL of the profiles especially the newest ones like Four Shades, et cetera. Even the supposed "Creator" of the profiles like Sahlwrld himself were still revising and adding things to their profile EVEN AFTER it was published, like when he added Range to Ronova to Hundreds of Kilometers even when we don't even know how big Khaenri'ah is.

90% of the profiles that have their Statistics & Powers and Abilities inaccurate should also be locked and noted that those are outdated profile because if it's not outdated: We would only index inaccurate things as accurate when it's truly not, it isn't.

The solution? Common sense, I suppose. Like the calculation issue: They knew it doesn't make sense, yet they still proceeded with it or how there exist atleast 1.5 pages of mental gymnastic and strawmanning on my CRT where I have to repeat what Firestorm808 said multiple times because they won't elaborate what concept was being altered.

To illustrate how terrible this is on calculation terms: You have Pilos Peak as the tallest mountain in Teyvat accepted as 30 kilometers in height, then you have it being taller than Dragonspine — A mountain that resembles the Mount Fuji and apparently is the second tallest mountain in Genshin Impact STATED.

And those who recalculated Yashiori Island's feat, got the island to 30 kilometers in height because of the actual size vs in-game size issue and I explained it from time to time that it just doesn't make sense at all.

Also i think 30km should be fine considering description of "violet court" domain which literally tells us that-meaning geography of teyvat was even much more absurd than this in the past, 30km is nothing.

So what should the actual height for Pilos Peak be then if Yashiori Island is 30 kilometers? I'd say this just inflates the calculation about that more..

Pilos Peak is literally the one that were accepted in Genshin calculations as the tallest mountain with it being 30 kilometers in height, yeah you could say it's not the concern of this CRT but just think about the aftermath of what would've happened, what needs revising, et cetera. You said you have the proof of Teyvat's geography being absurd, if so then why not just tackle that first and try to make the standards for Genshin related calculations then?

If I could be honest, I thought you were reasonable to say the least that we agreed to a conclusion before but since you replied like this afternoon. At this point, it would get us nowhere and like I'm not talking bad or anything but this is just desperate since I thought we were already over all this back then and that was the conclusion. It's not really good to just circular your way out or argument from repetition given it was already clarified objectively in the way that everyone could understand why it's flawed.
And also this prevents Genshin CRTs from having too many replies over something that could be concluded in just one reply, I'm not trying to be harsh but it's just what it is since I'm still trying to be polite until now because it's just tiring imo continuing things that are already clarified before firsthand and the supposedly "new" arguments weren't so different. I genuinely do not know what to do here after the suggestions and the feedbacks that I gave to you to revise by pointing out why this thread is wrong in the first place. CGM members "can" still be wrong because they don't know what the context is and they just check out the calculations if it fits the standard or not and approve of it.

Take Diluc's profile here, I guarantee you the statistics and their calculations are wrong. 95% of those abilities are already covered in the Fundamental Mechanism section on the Elemental Page and this extends to Inazuma profiles. In which there's atleast 20+ profiles with similar things like these, considering Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma cause the only good profiles are their ARCHONS. You guys might treat the deletion of the verse as a joke because of how absurd it is, but when you look at it in the same perspective and the same patience as I do. You practically knew already. It is genuinely so outdated because it has been going on for 6 years, and there's no major effort to fix this. I'm even still patient to let this verse stay, because I still cling on the hope that this verse WOULD be fixed some day / eventually.

Every calculation being "wrong" to some extent would not be grounds for deletion. Something like that would only come about if there was some systemic corruption involved, and since the calculations were accepted by CGMs, you would need to report the relevant cabal of CGMs for that, and have that report be approved by HR. We're not going to delete the series because you found a better measuring stick that makes the value 10% smaller in half of the AP calcs.

Why are you assuming that I found something that changes the calcs by 10 percent, I found things that completely debunk the calcs in my speed CRT, I assure you that there isn’t corruption, its just cgms overlooking things that are difficult to spot when evaluating calculations. Currently a little group conform by me and 2 other persons (2 of us are Knowledgeable Members) we are trying fixing the current state of the verse wether its ap/speed scaling, outdated profiles or abilities (additions or deletions for lack of evidence), so i dont think there is a need for more people trying to do the same as us

Verse undergoes tens of CRTs in a short span: Verse still bad
Verse has incorrect reasoning behind abilities
Verse overall is wrong. Verse need to be fixed. At the current pace verse is not being fixed. Verse need to be deleted to be fixed.

At this point I am genuinely wondering if you are just doing this to mess with us people again instead of doing anything contributive.

That's literally what this amounts to. Hell, look up any HST verse that has 10-20 different calcs every single week that we have to evaluate for the most nitpicky of reasons.

Not a single one of that is upto you to judge or apply, not a single staff has agreed to your terms either on that thread you made or this one. None of them are remotely good enough reasons to warrant deletion either. FULL STOP.

If a verse is bad, and people are willing to work on it, we ALWAYS simply have people create CRTs.

Deletion is not an excuse for you to do whatever you want with the series, with minimal vetting, ignoring everything accepted that came before. It is a last resort if many things are demonstrably wrong and literally no-one is interested in working on it.

Plus, your evidence for it being in a dire state is sorely lacking. A debunk thread you've posted, which no staff members have accepted, is not evidence that they need a complete overhaul.

A few CRTs occurring is not an issue; that sort of thing happens with every popular verse.

Yeah. Deletion is an absolute final solution. I can't see us ever deleting Genshin under current conditions. The only change I'd have is "****" instead of "heck".

I don't agree with locking the verse or limiting who can interact with it. We save those, too, for particularly egregious and obtuse situations. My stance is that Genshin Impact's calcs should be looked into and fixed if they are indeed flawed, and then we can work to apply that.
