The Real World Discussion Thread

For the record, I agree with Agnaa's points above about real world locations.

What do we currently need to evaluate here? 🙏
Ant, you're late to the discussion here. If memory serves correctly, the consensus is there is no evaluation; no real world locations.

I mean, there is probably a vague line somewhere to distinguish what could be and not be mundane, it's just that there is no good precedent. There's also the problem people could ruin said precedents with mundane locations (as I've learned the hard way) and at that point, what locations could serve as reference point anyways besides Earth and the Moon?

Imagine if we could add these to the list if they actually are capable of hosting any and all forms of life:

Made a calc https://joke-battles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:TugiaTheNarrator/Real_World:_GPE_of_a_human

Tho it hasn't been evaluated yet
Also Wall level is inconsistent so...

Hey Tugia, here to talk as I said.
Definitely interested in conversing about this, especially since we have peeps surviving insane g-force both sustained repeatedly (John Stapp) and experienced instantly (as you mentioned in the 2nd part, but you haven't mentioned other outliers like Kenny Brack and Karl Wendlinger).

updated the calc

Also not sure how much GPE Baumgartner and Eustace have in their jumps...? (Also, RIP Baumgartner.)
Also wonder if anyone has considered trying to freefall from the ISS with a parachute or else find other ways to skydive from above the Kármán line or from higher levels/strata of the atmosphere 😐.

You're doing all of thse wrong in GPE the height you use is the height at the center of gravity of the thing you're trying to calculate the GPE of, for a human that would be their midsection around the abdomen
This actually made me think of martial arts for a second, cause of this:

During the parts about takedowns, throws, etc the video constantly mentions the centre of gravity of the human body.
So yee.

I feel like we should make a CRT about Caracals and Servals. I'm not sure that they are 10c, since they often times described as "too dangerous too keep as a pet"

Not to mention that they are capable of harming dogs and humans, who often times scale to 10b, and iirc - adult humans are VERY rarely scale 10c, unless they have some serious medical conditions, disabilities or really old (Authority moment)

I have read some of that, and it would be hilarious to see how every human profile could get a lot of unnecessary keys. Something like:

"Name: Average Joe
Tier: 10b, 10a with elbows, 9c with running "

Also I have another question, is it really 800 joules needed to crush a skull? If so - how tf mma fighters are still alive, if their AP is higher?

Time Manip for humanity

"This is done by interfering with the possible timelines of the particle and manipulating its path based on all possible directions in which the photon could bounce. In other words, they merge every possible timeline into the outcome they want regardless of which path the photon takes.

“We have demonstrated a universal time-rewinding protocol for two-level quantum systems. Unlike previously proposed protocols, ours can reach an arbitrarily high probability of success and is asymptotically optimal in the time required to perform the rewinding, answering the question of whether or not such processes are permitted by the laws of quantum mechanics,” the research paper explains. "

Gonna wait for calc team member response. But I have a small issue with the tree feat - it looks like it's way more fragile than oak, birch and etc, so it would scale a bit lower than you may think

What do you think of it, calc team members?

Time Manip for humanity

We need to add this too.

I found this on TV Tropes originally lel.

Bruh, I'm surprised no one has pointed out tiering system limitations yet. And staff who knows tiers 10 to 9 long enough will eventually point out oversimplified tiering system limits.

Regular people can do 9-C stuff, it's just that it would make athletes technically 10-B (which wouldn't make any sense, surprised no one thought out this contradiction).

Also, this is Real World verse stuff, so this should realistically apply in-case you're trying to raise 10-B

"
Be more realistic and careful when scaling entities around tiers Below Average Human level to Street level, as the tiering system becomes inconsistent due to the tiering system being oversimplified.
  • Examples:
    • Humans having Street level energy output on their legs and gravitational potential energy when anyone is capable of injuring a person with a full punch. And yet, athletes can exert below this energy output.
"

I figured people already knew about this tbh since like obvious the real world ain't that simple
