One Piece General Discussion: Elbaph

Isn’t it better and easier to read the colored version tho? Or perhaps you’re just more used to black and white?

It would definitely be better to read the colored version (the black and white sometimes makes it hard to tell what's going on, especially since I've been reading this on my phone), but I had this available.

I could direct you to where you could read it if you want (Chapters 1 - 216 is more accurately translated and the rest are most likely viz)

I'm sad Vivi didn't join the Straw Hats, but I knew that was coming. At least Robin's part of the crew (sort of), and I've got a feeling I'll really like her.

Crocodile getting his just desserts was very, very, very satisfying.

Pell's death was pretty heroic, but I'm 95% sure he's still alive because this is One Piece.

On a side note, it's hilarious to me that Robin is the hidden MVP of this arc. Seriously, there are at least five separate things she did before or during the arc that saved the Straw Hats and Alabasta from total destruction.

Another One Piece fan who understands the thematics that this story is really about.

That and the video below is why I love One Piece so much. On one hand the sheer beauty of the natural world and all of the positive aspects of life, and on the other the horror that the most corrupt demonically evil, absolutely greedy, ruthless, and power-hungry, and completely conscience- and empathy-deprived political leaders of this world are very unnaturally twisting it into.

The story is a living testament to the true essence of life itself. It is unashamedly focusing on kindness, bravery, freedom, friendship, loyalty, solidarity, hope, joy, celebration, compassion, and authentic genuine ethics in a manner that this world desperately needs.

I pray that Eiichiro Oda is divinely blessed and protected for all of his good work, so our most corrupt political leaders do not assassinate him as a potential "inconvenience". 🙏❤️💖🕊

What a phenomenal post I just read:

Edit: Sorry. I accidentally posted this in the wrong One Piece thread. 🙏

Btw, am I the only one who thinks Doll should get a page when the Egghead revisions are done?

1. Can use Advanced Buso Haki without contact.

2. Has enough feats to be warranted as tier 5:
  • Easily defeated a giant that restrained Nusjuro and who should be comparable to his fellow giants that blocked Saturn's attacks.
  • Damaged a Mark III Pacifista, which should be superior to Atlas.

I don't think that Atlas should be seriously comparable to base Luffy. They only had one exchange of blows that could easily be interpreted as a gag scene with Atlas punching Luffy into the automatic food machine. Not everyone who sends base Luffy flying should be considered Tier 5.

Fill out the form before it’s too late

I never once doubted Imu in my life! I was one of the peeps when they were first revealed that actually believed in them having genuine power instead of just being a political figure like a lot of people were saying back then.

I invested in Imustocks and I'm now eating like a king.

Honestly not wrong, I'm mostly going by what is being accepted so far in the Egghead thread.

But regardless, Doll should still be tier 5 via mollywhopping that giant (and honestly it's nice to see a female character not named Big Mom use Buso Haki, especially advanced Buso).

Speaking of Doll, I'm looking forward to her reaction when he learns about Saul still being alive or when her and Robin meets for the first time due to their connection to him.

Scaling a vice admiral that isn’t Garp to gorosei is what will make me delete my account on this wiki

Maybe because perhaps everyone tries to downplay them? 🐵

It's as if Oda hasn't literally given and showed us many times, higher authority = being about strength/power based (unless there are small outliers and haven't actually been appointed to their rightful rank)... Like I think this is a NA problem, check on your people plz🙏

We also should maybe stop over simplifying scaling/situations... Yes one can be relative, but relative goes out the window when you attack based on weak points/hax or something alike (In terms of op, that can be tricky and confusing tho since what's normally an attack based on weak points, gets turned to just a normal attack from the many factors being involved in verse like Haki, superhuman Marital arts, DF, science and even just ones willpower 🙉)

I mean it's not like she'd scale to the highest tier, she'd be among the lower tier 5's, especially since the giants only downscale from the Gorosei.

That said, she has a pretty solid case with that stomping of the giant. If Nami is tier 5 despite being one of the coward trio, I don't see an issue with making one of the vice admirals tier 5 as well.

Tbh Nami shouldn't be Tier 5 either.

And the giants only had a contest of Lifting Strength with Nusjuro if we're just judging them by them trying to restrain him. I don't recall them harming him with their attacks.

Fair enough, though he should be comparable to his fellow giant soldiers who could withstand Saturn's attacks without being pushed back for a while.

I don't remember this? 🐵 when he climbed on the ship?

They also weren't even able to fully restrain him, was just very few moments of nusjuro not even trying to break free until Bonney tries to attack him

I am glad that you are enjoying the story. 🙏🙂❤️

You might enjoy the following YouTube channel playlist after each storyarc.

I feel like Zoro will get another change from the title "King Of Hell" to perhaps something else, it's like he became that King only for the benefit for someone else (Luffy) to become the greatest swordsman... But what would he be whenever luffy doesn't need him to be that?

Like I don't know actually much about it since I haven't fully consumed Wano, but when I read the texts, it does sound like something he doesn't care in being, losing himself for the sole purpose of helping Luffy, which isn't something Luffy would like and perhaps might be the cause for Zoro changing to something else? 🤔

King Of Hell is from enma, then what King would be Wado Ichimonji? 😶‍🌫️ (Enma is dark purple and Ichimonji is pure white, something Nika also takes the shape off)

Might be something Zoro changes whenever he fights Mihawk tho🔥

I think King of Hell will remain, it's sort of a mirror to Rayleigh who was known as "the dark king" (which means Hades who's also a king of the underworld) so in a sense when Zoro declared he would become the king of hell it could be interpreted as him becoming the official first mate for the strawhats like Rayleigh was for the Roger Pirates.

I mean yes but I don't think it will be his main thing... since he has 3 swords and that one is only from enma, while Ichimonji (which is his personal main and his actual goal to become the strongest with) to me it seems like it might awaken or something along those line later on to balance both... Especially when luffy's main opposition is imu who's whole concept is about underworld stuff.. Being a D and Nika

Kinda something similar to Oden I guess

While yes, Rayleigh is known as the dark king, I think Zoro (And Luffy) will accomplish something both the previous pirate king and right handman couldn't achieve, that's why I see the change with Zoro to something else

Which is how I can see he'll maybe win against mihawk by choosing a different route to Rayleigh and Mihawk (both being about darkness which Luffy isn't)

Tho I think that will be like some very end game stuff

Sorry, I may be mishearing, but are you saying Zoro's main style is One-Sword?
