Also I'm super curious, what was your first exposure to the series? And if it was the games, which one did you start with?
 
Sometime in the mid 2000s I discovered a fan animation about EosD that was just a high-effort shitpost about the Sakuya breast pads meme, which later lead to me playing the Windows era games (in order, of course).
 
Several CRTs have been passed in the last couple of months with updated material. This is good to see, and I'm happy that our pages are getting some much-needed attention.

However, I believe now is the right time to openly discuss future changes to our outdated Cosmology page. Statements regarding the Dream World and Heaven’s Size will be particularly relevant.

I recommend that we discuss the contents of, and focus our efforts to the aforementioned page, along with any potential future additions/updates to the page. Many previous attempts to revise our Cosmology have been denied, so I encourage thorough discussion here first and foremost before any such threads are made.

Aside from the Illuminati-esque symbolism going on; eyes and pyramids, there's something that stuck out to me.

Reimu's Gohei is shaped like a Key. What's funnier is that we know what her Gohei is more than just an artistic choice in the title screen;

Also a little funny that ZUN's trying to pose like Reimu.
 
One of the funny take-aways from that match is that some characters are actually lacking Martial Arts/Weapon Masteries. Weapon Control included. In the future, it may be worth doing a CRT for our existing pages to see who's missing what in that regard.

Might also be worth adding that Yukari does incorporate her Boundary Manipulation in close quarters fighting; i.e, opening portals to attack you from blind spots, using her umbrella as a weapon, among other examples.

Yukari is also missing a few PnA's; noteably being able to summon both Ran and Chen, alongside summoning her exploding trains. Granted they're listed on her profile in the lower sections, it's just that most people only really pay attention to the PnA section.

Oh hey, the Touhou 20 demo is coming out in under 48 hours...

I'll be uploading and sharing some gameplay here once I get the chance. Very exciting to try it out!

Our Cosmology page is currently priority #1 right now, as it is several years outdated.

Yukari's page could also use a slight touch-up. New material from FDS and 15.5 is something worth covering. Same with the new fortune telling book.
 
Some updates regarding the new game;

Assuming the theories about the Sanctuary are correct - that it is an implied pocket dimension existing at the "Border of Idea", possibly placing it in an even lower in hierarchy than Gensokyo - then the Sanctuary is so forgotten that even Gensokyo has no memory of it. This would make it a step further removed from reality, the lowest known state of existence in the series, as Gensokyo itself is already considered the lowest plane in "real"ness. For now, however, this remains speculation.

The cosmology CRT will likely be delayed until we get confirmation in August with the game's release. Potential Tier 11/Further Tier 1 evidence definitely wasn’t on my bingo card. Big developments are expected going forward.

The absolute whiplash I felt when I realized Yukari still can't regenerate or resist Grand Priest's powers.
 
Unrelated, it seems like we are missing many stuff regarding Youkai Physiology.

The most noteable is that they are described verbatim as information-based entities in the latest Curiosities of Lotus Asia chapter. This lines up with what we know about them previously being formed and limited by human imagination before the formation of the Boundary of Common Sense - which liberated Youkai from the human mind.

I really do keep underestimating how outdated this verse is. Does anyone have plans to redo the high-godly regen and NEP upgrade CRT?
