Updated the pictures for DMC4 and Nelo Angelo Unmasked. DMC4 one felt like inferior copy of DMC3 pose and Unmasked Vergil looked goofy to me.

Is there any more recommendations you guyz wanna have regarding the profiles?
 
Can we create matchups using DMC3 Dante (Pre-DT)? Since hybrids supposedly can't use passives without DT. So, could matchups be made based on this key?

Dante still have passive enphathic haxs and fear in base when serius/bloodlusted

If they can resist that+resist their layers as Sonic pointed above, them yeah you are free to do that imo

If those abilities only trigger in Bloodlust and Devil Trigger mode, then standard matchups should still work if both are restricted, no?

Since I seriously doubt there are characters who reach his level of layers while being City Level or lower

For Pre-DT DMC3 Dante yes, for his volume 1 keys nope since he aways serius and bloodlusted on that ones

Although Majin (A form stronger them even them Devil Trigger) can still happens in the brink of death as show in DMC3 manga and BtN novel

So need to be carefull there

Very likely and is gonna get bigger im the future, so yeah is likely impossible to make match with DMC even atm

Yeah. Dante isn't naturally serious in a fight let alone bloodlusted.

In volume 1 it was because Nell just died in his arms so he was looking for blood/payback. After that he is just on a suicidal run so the fear hax won't kick in unless Majin Form is activated.

Why is Nero rated 4-A given he sliced Urizen, a 2-C character, palm and stood up to face him, unlike Dante at the start of the game whom failed

He is getting a upgrade to 2-C eventually along with DMC3 and DMC4 casts

We are just focusing on some stuff that takes priority of their scaling atm
 
Is it just me, or is Devil Sword Dante kinda trash? I mean, compared to Yamato, it has no divine powers at all. Yamato is on a whole other level. Devil Sword Dante just gives you Sin Devil Trigger and copies Vergil’s powers it’s honestly a lame sword next to Yamato.

Devil Sword Dante has a mind of its own (they all do but this one is special) as it is stated it will attack and defend Dante on its own. Summoned swords which is a fair point, just Vergil's power.

I mean, the sword isn't as OP as Yamato but that's because Yamato was specially created to do all the wacky shit it does meanwhile DSD technically has all of Sparda's and Rebellion's powers and abilities so Dante could probably make more seals with it (despite having a better version with Jackpot), also someone with Dante's blood could potentially use his Sin Devil Trigger the same way Dante used Sparda's Devil Trigger granting them a **** ton of power.

According to DMC5 Dante Sin Devil Trigger is him manifesting the true powers of him being a son of Sparda

So in theory Sparda, Vergil and Nero can use the same abilities too

Hell, tecnically Nero and Vergil have their summoned swords which fits their having the same powers once again i guess

Out of curiosity here, which controler do you prefer for the game? I've been playing with a PS controler but I was tired of the PS4s one always breaking so I recently got a Series X one. I thought it would be hard to adapt, but so far today the only thing I dislike is how small the start and select buttons are

Ok I take that back, the worst part of the controller are the bumpers being so slippery.

Bright side I no damaged Vergil on DMD I guess, wasn't recording unfortunately

I don't remember much about the story of DMC5 so correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that a month later? If so, Nero just got way stronger and therefore stronger than Dante Pre-Sin DT
 
Nero doing better against Urizen is kind of an absurd claim, he was literally one shotted by Urizen minutes later, he only managed to BARELY even scratch him because Urizen doesn't even remotely care about Nero's presence here. Dante fought Urizen for 27~ hours and Urizen actually wanted Dante dead(he verbatim says so in VoV), at the very least he took him semi-serious. Also, as Tony said, it's kind of an outlier.

This explanation doesn't prove that it's an outlier imo (there may be another one).

The fact that he finally lost to Urizen doesn't change the fact that he managed to scratch him and that Pre-Sin DT Dante didn't succeed. If I remember correctly, Nero scratched Urizen during their second confrontation a month later, which would just mean that Nero has become much stronger than before and stronger than Pre-Sin DT Dante thanks to his Accelerated Development (which would not be inconsistent with the potential of the Sparda boys in general)

Urizen was toying with Nero, a pity fight. He just got annoyed when he was scratched that got him to get up and bully you. The fact that the player is scripted to lose both phases of fight says a lot. I doubt he even had his shield up while fighting and was holding back to bully Nero.

I mean, that explanation was not for it being an outlier but rather about how saying Nero did better than Dante is absurd in of itself.
We don't even know if Nero got stronger in during that one month period(at least I don't remember any statements about that), such a significant power boost would need some explanation which for Nero it doesn't really have(yeah, he was stated to be training iirc but that's too much of a tier jump to excuse this) , especially considering Urizen not only has AD from his Sparda Inheritence too but was actively supplied with blood during that one month, getting even more powerful, which makes this even more iffy.
