Obito Uchiha vs Regulus Corneas

Regulus can actually kill puck so he also has soul/mind destruction which would kill them
Yeah I forgot. Basically, Edos are a no threat in the verse and would be pretty much killed in sight. Ngl, Narutoverse has many abilities but lacks good hax entirely...like, their hax is even below the standart, becouse even Dragon Ball Super and Heroes has much more impressive abilities than them.

Nah bro, you just want a massacre...
It is the will of Nagash. And also Arkhan is pretty cool, though Reinhard would probably get the Eltharion treatment.

Eltharion is an incredible melee combatant, A Competent mage with an artifact to make him an even better mage. Not someone to be ****** with lightly

Arkhan the Black is the 2nd most powerful liche in the setting and the 3rd most powerful undead in the setting. That fight ended once Arkhan decided that Eltharion was making too much of a nuisance of himself.

Warhammer chars are just built different, resisting and having all the hax known to man

Make the Match up after Reinhards CRT

IT protects his mind sure. But his 5 senses are up for grabs. Same as his nervous system.
Shamac. Anyway no, genjutsu wouldn't work. It also doesnt matter how layered it is or how many senses it affects, because you cannot interact with Regulus physically, spiritually or mentally. He doesn't resist the shamac clip i just sent you, it just can't interact with him, that's just how his Authority works

Aren't the wives still like, a heavily exploitable weakness? Like, Obito just teleports right next to them incinerates them with his basic fire style and there's nothing that can be really be done. Regulus can do nothing to him with Kamui, whereas Obito can actually win this fight with wive massacring. Obito has killed women and children for sport in Canon so if he thinks he has to do it to counter his opponent, he won't hesitate.

This is White Mask Obito with Jins right? That's SBA for 4th War Obito.

Obito would probably consider this a mercy killing.

Obito legitimately wins this fight with fire style alone. He one shots all of the wives with the upmost of ease and can fan his flames for long periods of time that will naturally take over five seconds, which Regulus without wives can’t hold authority for.

Who ever said anything about all of Regulus's Wives being there with him, let alone one of them? Have you ever seen him fight alongside his wives?

His wives/Harem are standard equipment for him, so they're around the area.

I still don’t see how this automatically means all of Regulus’s wives should be right next to him. They can be anywhere from 0 to over 100 km away, yeah the further they are, the more dangerous it becomes for him ofcourse since he can’t leave their range. But at the same time, the closer they are, the more likely they get caught up in the fire.

It’s not like Obito has some massive AoE explosion that covers thousands of meters, at least, not that I remember. The only time Regulus had all of his wives with him was in Priestella. In the Ex story against Kurgan, he only brought two. In Arc 4, when he fought Petelgeuse and Fortuna, they were nowhere to be seen. Pandora later mentioned that she was gonna send him to where his wives were "in the mansion", so thats where they probably were in some capacity, it’s unclear if he had brought any with him (like outside the woods or something). In Arc 3, when he fought Crusch and Rem, they also weren’t there.

So idk why we assuming all of them are automatically around him, The OP hasn’t specified their exact distance, so if we go by what’s consistent, Regulus usually only brings around two wives to fights, while the rest are elsewhere. The OP needs to clarify where the wives are and how far they are, since he made the matchup.

Obito’s profile states that his range extends from several dozen meters to thousands of kilometers with ranged attacks. I’m not sure which specific attacks justify that, but it wouldn’t matter anyway, if the wives are, say, 10 km away, they aren’t the enemies in this battle, so they wouldn’t be his target in the first place.

They wouldn’t start at some arbitrary point away from him. Like all other standard equip, they’re next to him.

I don't see why that would be the case when he seemingly always keeps many of them very far away from him.

As far as I know, we let characters like Pyra/Mythra keep their Artifices (which are also semi-sentient) floating in orbit since that's where they normally are, so I don't see why the same can't be true for Regulus's wives.

I get where you're coming from with this but I'm also pretty sure that where ever he keeps his wives normally doesn't really have an equivalent in Central Park since SBA is in effect.

No, they wouldn’t automatically start right next to him. Let me ask you this, If Regulus’s Little King wasn’t in his wives but instead in a meteorite floating in space, where exactly is it stated under VSBW’s SBA that the meteorite would have to be right next to him instead of staying in space?

Regulus’s wives are not the opponents in this battle against Obito. They just happen to be the ones carrying his pseudo-heart, the vessel of his Little King, but they aren’t even aware of this fact, nor do they actively assist him in combat in any way. That’s why they aren’t registered as enemies in this matchup, the same way that a hypothetical meteorite containing his Little King wouldn’t suddenly be considered an enemy either.

Disanalogous. We have a reason to think the meteorite would be somewhere else, whereas for the wives, its just totally arbitrary. "Right next to him" is the simplest solution that doesn't require arbitrary assumptions/headcanon.

Obito would still kill them all with a fire style if they're next to him. He wouldn't ignore them.

No, it’s not disanalogous. The meteorite example highlights the issue with your assumption, just because something is standard equipment doesn’t mean it’s automatically glued to the user at all times. The wives are not combatants, nor do they actively participate in Regulus’s fights. They are only relevant because they contain his pseudo-heart, but their exact location has never been consistent across his battles.

You claim that putting them anywhere but “right next to him” is "arbitrary", but that’s not true. In multiple instances throughout the series, Regulus has fought without his wives physically present and i've mentioned those times. The only time he had all of them with him was in Arc 5 (so that's 1 out of 4 times). If anything, assuming they are always right next to him is the actual arbitrary assumption.

The simplest solution would be to acknowledge that their placement is situational and requires specification from the OP, just like any other battle relevant factor.

I acknowledged the reasons for this, and how they differ from the wives scenario.

So why assume any other placement other than next to him like most SE?

The very fact they aren't consistent is the very basis for me calling it arbitrary. They can be one place or another and we have no justification for choosing one or the other with out countervening statements from OP.

SE being next to the character isn't arbitrary, its how 99% of SE works.

Right next to him is more reasonable than any place away, but this is fine.

under SBA, Standard Equipment is simply listed under Equipment, with no requirement for it to be physically close to the character. The idea that "most of the time" they’re next to the character is irrelevant, this situation is simply one of those rare exceptions, where the equipment isn’t right next to them.

Now help me undertstand this, Regulus has had four fights, and in three of those, he didn’t have all of his wives present, only in one did he have them all with him. So why are you focusing on that one instance and not the other three? It seems selective, almost like you’re cherry picking the one time that supports your argument, ignoring the consistency of him fighting without all of them.
Right next to him is more reasonable than any place away, but this is fine.
Right next to him is actually more unreasable.

Remove his wives from his standard equipment if you want to argue this, until then, they're at least in the general area.

Why tho? I don’t see why we’d need to remove his wives from standard equipment. As I’ve said, equipment isn’t always glued to the user. Take a hypothetical example, if paper bombs were part of Obito's standard equipment, but he had to pull them from the moon or kilometers away, they'd still be considered his standard equipment, just not immediately nearby. The point is, being "standard equipment" doesn’t automatically mean it has to be right next to him, it just means it’s available to him, regardless of distance. So I don’t really understand why this is being treated differently.

The problem is that they need to be somewhere on Earth but nothing on Earth is equivalent to Re:Zero's world so it is entirely arbitrary as opposed to something in space or on another continent that also doesn't exist on Earth.

BTW, Just putting this forward that the author said that the ONLY reason he brought all of his wives to priestella at all (which caused his death) was due to the marriage, He went as far to say that the cause of his death was the marriage itself

This means that he clearly doesnt bring them normally with them

Yeah it made 0 sense to me why he'd bring all his wives lmao, but i guess this just makes it even more unreasonable for him to have all his wives. Was this said in one of his tweets, and can you send it?

I get your point. However, for Regulus’s fights, it should immediately be stated where the wives are because they aren’t always with him. The OP should definitely clarify their placement, as that’s an important detail that could change how the battle plays out. If they were with him here, this fight ends under 10 seconds

So remove them from his standard equipment! Not really hard to do!
