I mean the 5 senses are how GJ is perceived, and "chakra" is directly a part of every cell in the human body, as well as a through a massive organ that wraps around every other organ in the body via the chakra network.

the physical aspect of Chakra is vitality itself.

By interacting with someone's ability to hear, see, smell, taste, or feel, you are inherently interacting with the vitality in the cells, that make up the tissue or what body part is affected.

so if someone hears a sound-based GJ, their chakra is automatically interacted with. because their ear is made of billions of cells comprised of the physical aspect of chakra.

we also know that souls themselves can be affected by GJ when put in a non-physical container because it still comprised of life force, aka chakra.

So then the it’s simultaneous, not ordered?

So then the it’s simultaneous, not ordered?
that's how I perceive it,

If the mind and body are entirely comprised of the foundational pieces of chakra, then GJ controlling the body's Chakra would include the body's physical and mental energy in its totality.

every cell of the human body, as well as the mind and soul.

This is why some GJ has immediate and varying effects on different parts of the body or mind depending on the jutsu, it can manipulate senses, some can paralyze the entire body, some can read memories, some can mentally BFR you, etc.

Because it's interacting with your chakra as a collective.

This would also explain why things without a brain or normal human anatomy can be placed under GJ as long as they have life force via the mind and soul.

now i should prob say that genjutsu shouldnt be thought of as a specific mechanic even though theres obvious genjutsu that are used more commonly, but more an umbrella turn for mind ninja bullshit, some with their own mechanics.

for example the mist ninja in the chunin exams has a genjutsu that creates illusionary clones, said clones can physically be smacked by naruto.

same with kakashi who can physically dispel a genjutsu with his raikiri during the obito fight.
Kishi just slapping the word genjutsu on everything and calling it day in the past, now we can only hope for genjutsu stuff

why is the number of episodes used as a flex? 😭

The funny thing is, they do all of that but OP is still in 3rd Place outside of Japan compared to Naruto & Bleach. Like, 90% of it’s success is within Japan.

And while that is cool still, it’s like… let’s not get a big head about it.

You have to love people using how awful the pacing of their show is as a flex (and this applies to basically all anime like One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, seriously, it's painful to go back and watch the old Bleach anime after reading the manga and watching the Thousand-Year Blood War anime).

Third question I've asked on here but whatever, do you guys think the Boruto series ruined Naruto and the franchise?

In regards to speed, the significant “breakpoints” throughout the franchise are:
  1. Regular Human Perception (The LoW “Samurai”).
  2. Zaku’s Super-Sonic Blasts.
  3. Gaara’s Sand Defense Speed.
  4. Temari’s Combat Speed.
  5. Raikiri Lore.
  6. Kakuzu’s False Darkness.
  7. Kirin’s Speed.
  8. Lightfang.
  9. Novel Lightning Amps.
  10. Mitsuki’s Snake Lightning.
  11. Buntans Lightning.
Or am I missing any?

no

even if boruto was a 1/10 series, naruto is still there for you to enjoy in its 700 chapters of glory.

its a fictional story all of its make believe, something can only ruin something else if you let it.

i think the ending of the goku black saga is hot garbage but it doesnt take away my love and enjoyment of the android saga and trunks triumph victory over the androids.

It's exactly like Shadow said, nothing can ruin Naruto at this point because Naruto is a concluded series that's always there for you to go back and experience if you so choose. Nothing can ever take that away from us.

As for Boruto, the first 50 chapters or so were perfectly bland, mediocre slop. After Kodachi left, the series gradually improved, culminating in the Omnipotence arc, which is actually really good unironically. Then you have TBV, which isn't quite as good as Omnipotence, but is still rather good in its own right, and is mostly on an upward trajectory in terms of quality.
All that is to say, Boruto on the whole isn't even bad enough to leave a bad taste in one's mouth regarding Naruto, let alone ruin it forever lol.

There's over 200 anime episodes of Boruto and only 1 speed calc. I strongly feel we're missing potentially solid feats here ngl
I believe a bunch of feats were calced recently, but I'm not sure whether or not they've been evaluated yet. I think the other basement dwellers like Nierre or Testarossa would know more.

Btw, was it ever stated “how” Iron Sand was created? Iirc, Gaara could create more sand by crushing underground rocks and such.

As a whole? Def not regardless of what haters say

But there are certainly...aspects of the story that look worse in hindsight tbf

Ngl, I personally wouldn't have minded if Boruto ended after the Momoshiki arc as a sort of open ended type deal

IIRC only the Gedo Statue could do that when in conjunction with a Rinnegan wielder. I think it's also the same method they use to extract the Tailed Beasts from their hosts.

Summon statue > Let statue stab you with Chakra rods or do it in conjunction with others via them being on the statue's fingers > Statue spits out Soul Dragon/s
