Dragon Ball are not video games, it is a continuous series with its clear story, this is the story of Goku as a child, then as an adult, and now with Super and whatever continues after.

In the worst possible way, just because someone likes an idea does not mean that that idea will be well applied or well implemented.
"Decanonize"? Dude, "canon" is nothing more than a continuity word, being in continuity with one series or another makes it "canon" to that continuity, Super manga clear is a continuation from the OG DB Manga, so it is as "canon" as Daima in that aspect, both are just not canon to eachother
Dragon Ball Online isn't canon and Akira helped with the story for that one iirc

there is nothing saying Daima is canon to Super, Akira never said it did, and the one quote you used to say it was... was from someone who iirc didn't even worked on it or the DBS Manga, in fact, DBS Anime is not canon to the OG DB Manga as well even if it used Akira's notes as basis, so like... yeah

This is not an issue, like at all, this is just something the anime decided to add in it’s not a plot hole or anything.
a way to do a harmless gag will be like, make Goku eat the bugs and then, he turns into a bug, but the all powerful eye that basically grans you unlimited power and regeneration and adaptation...can be bought in the convenience store?at least angelic weapons can be bought to a overlord and you need to have tons of money.
