Um. Question. the link is to Leon's Game profile. Two, Leon's entire team is Tier 2 at this point, be it the Anime or Game variants, so Alain temporarily fighting Leon and holding his own (his feats with his Chestnaut and his Mega Evolved Charizard not getting completely fodderized by Leon's Charizard) somewhat should still likely make him Tier 2 as of Pokemon Journeys and would likely need another key, unless we're arguing he's still just as strong as he was during XYZ (Which, um, has a lot of problems to say the very least)

Question should not climb kukui and paul kukui stood firm with Z move pikachu
and tapu koko scale up kukui travel
and paul was subduing lucalio and gengar
 
What the actual heck are you trying to say man? Are you using a translator? If you are, it is a bad translator, best to change it.

Current Paul ? Yes. Sun and Moon version of Kukui ? No. Pikachu has become a lot stronger than he was when he last fought Kukui, and nothing suggests Kukui is on even terms with current Ash and Pikachu

Hand, what are you talking about? We saw how both Z Moves stood firm in Battle Royal and only one of them was blocked by Steven Metagross and we also don't have any confirmation that any of them remained standing.

We literally cannot assume that without proof friend. People can just train without it being directly shown on screen. If Current Kukui has shown that he scales to Current Pikachu, then yeah he scales in Journeys. But we can't assume past Kukui scales without a statement from either Kukui or Ash that past Kukui could've still kept up with current Ash / Pikachu.
 
The majority of the moves refer to a shadowy aura from bulbapedia, "An interesting quirk about Shadow Pokémon is their inability to be differentiated from normal Pokémon by all but those with certain abilities or tools. Shadow Pokémon emit a normally invisible dark aura that normal Pokémon do not, which so far has only been able to be detected by Rui through an innate ability, and Michael with his Aura Reader. The only exception is Shadow Lugia, which takes on noticeable alterations, namely having jagged silver eyefins and possessing an overall darker complexion." It is very likely this aura is the aforementioned shadowy aura. Besides shadow rush in colosseum the only five moves don't mention shadowy auras, shadow bolt, shadow chill, and shadow fire all use the term shadowy to refer to the attack as using shadowy thunder attack, shadowy ice attack, and shadowy fireball attack respectively which given the similar terminology implies a similar nature. That leaves shadow sky and shadow hold.
Edit: The effect of shadow sky is referred to as a shadowy aura
 
Okay, I'll just generalize Aura instead for Shadow moves but the ones of the bird trio.

Dragon types are essentially just dragons that weaponize dragon-related energy. There’s very few that one might have that the other wouldn’t.
 
TBH I'd think that'd be best just being merged with what I'm currently doing if it's only moves.
 
Reminder that stuff in verse-specific P&As should have multiple users or a resistance to it, listing stuff that's a subset only 1 character has is not something that should be in there, but rather in the respective profile instead, assuming this is more than just Dragon Energy the move as that does get copied by a ton of stuff.

I’m being careful of that. That’s why I’m putting just about every Dragon type move under scrutiny.
 
I guess once I'm done with the Normal-type stuff I'm doing I'll go with Dragon-type moves to avoid potential concerns on how this is handled.
 
TBH I'd abstain on doing more species pages as then updating them is going to be more of a chore with the ton of changes they need in general.

TBH that kind of prize would go for typeless/Shadow, but that'd kinda cheating. Dragon, Ground, and Flying do tie for the 2nd least moves at least.
 
That reminds while I was checking how perish song worked on bulbapedia I found it said abilities that give immunity to moves like lightning rod, or dry skin. I tried stacking abilities that grant electric immunities with galvanize in shared power so I could try setting up with perish song. It definitely didn't work and I was disappointed.
 
What's funny is that Perish Song only affects foes in Mystery Dungeon, so that's sure going to be funny in matches.

I think Soundproof gives immunity to Perish Song.

I checked Bulbapedia, and that's not entirely correct (but it's not entirely wrong either. In Generation VIII, Soundproof was changed making the user not immune to their own sound-based moved; however, they still seem to be immune to their teammates' and their opponents' sound-based moves.

I don't really know how this works in practice, but you can test it to see for sure.

As opposed to... not affecting foes in the main games? Do you mean, like, how it does or doesn't target??
 
In the core series Perish Song affects everyone on the field (the user, allies, opponents), while in MD it's only opponents.
