7-C Tiersetter Tourney

Hm, maybe @GyroNutz could elaborate on some of those. Also, looking at the profile more closely, the Supersonic+ justification is weird (if it's for dodging, why is it travel speed?)

I think golden feathers would need to be restricted, 2 seconds is very strong if he has the Turbo Trainers, and is still pretty damn strong without it. At Hypersonic speeds, 2 seconds is the equivalent of 10 minutes in a human-speed fight.

Maybe not fully, though. I think if they have the Turbo Trainers they should be limited to one, and if they don't they should be limited to two.

The “dodging” in question is Kazooie running between two safe spots before the Stompadon’s stomp lands, which I think was calced at Supersonic+.
 
With Geats just eking out enough votes, I'll spin up the next match; Candle vs Gabriel.

If Trishula Anchor vs Randall Flagg continues to get no real input, I'll adjudicate it as a win for Trishula, and move onto the next round, once Candle vs Gabriel concludes.
 
Not much point bumping, I'm keeping an eye on things.

As I said, I've got the adjudicated win for Trishula vs Randall lined up, and if there's no more votes/argumentation for Candle vs Gabriel after a few more days, I'll adjudicate a winner there too; currently that'd be Gabriel.

Since these matches haven't had meaningful discussions for a while, I'm declaring the winner of Match 6, Trishula Anchor vs Randall Flagg to be Trishula Anchor, and the winner of Match 8, Candle vs Gabriel to be Gabriel.

With those done, I hereby announce the order of the next round:

Round 2​

  1. Match 1, Cherish vs Kamen Rider Geats
  2. Match 2, Ikit Claw vs Gabriel
  3. Match 3, Lord Recluse vs Trishula Anchor
  4. Match 4, Streaky the Supercat vs Ali

Ehh in the last match, having prior knowledge only made Gabe aim at Ikit instantly. It wasn't a huge advantage, so things don't change much here tbh and papa's special boy is gonna win this time aye

That's a good point! I was originally going to continue when discussion died down, but it stayed strong all the way through grace, so I overlooked that.

What matches had particularly caught your attention?
 
I've been surprisingly happy with the Cherish matches. The first Geats round was interesting to watch, too.
 
Glad to see the Geats matches are entertaining you, since this is Geat's first rider battles (and tourney for that matter). And yea, Cherish is admittedly a very big curveball in this tourney and depending on the enemies she faces, she would've gotten quite far into the tourney (or even win for that matter).
 
The first Ikit Claw match felt like a bit of a letdown to me, but I expect good things from this next one.
 
Noticed I hadn't added some previous matches, so I've gone back and done those.
 
New match up. I won't declare Ikit Claw vs Gabriel over yet, but if we wrap up match four in the same state, I'll resolve it in Ikit Claw's favour.
 
I've been pretty burnt out on Life in general, but I'll keep this going as long as I'm reminded that there's interest shown.

Since both of the previous matches have a middling four votes, I'll just start the next one without officially concluding the prior two.

Match four of round two is up.
 
We're just waiting on a solid conclusion for that last match, now.
 
With the votes that have come in, I think all of these matches should have adjudicated winners for now.

Trishula Anchor and Ali have won their respective matches.

So with that, I'll move on to the semi-finals

Semi-Finals (Round 3)​

  1. Match 1, Kamen Rider Geats vs Trishula Anchor
  2. Match 2, Ikit Claw vs Ali
 
Trishula Anchor's profile has been found to be outdated, and updating it would put her OOT, so she's been disqualified.

Replacing her for this match against Kamen Rider Geats will be the contestant she took out last round, Lord Recluse.

Was working today, will be working tomorrow and might have life stuff the day after.

When I end up with enough spare time I'll post the next match.
 
While I'd love to, I've only got one character who lands in any of those, and I think she's too complicated to make a good tiersetter.

Maybe I'll come back to that in a few years :3
