Metal Gear Travel Speed & Blade Mode Fixes

Currently the speed rating for the main cast of characters is Supersonic+ based off of this calculation
However there's some issues, for example here's the justification for the 20km distance:
Now, I have absolutely no idea where he is getting the 20 km figure from among a few other things, and I have beaten both MSX games along with the shitty NES version of the original game, and did a lot of googling trying to find something validating those figures. I found jack ****, but knowing Willy it's probably pretty legit anyways
The person who made the calc has no idea where the figure for the distance even came from, and just relies on some other person's trust rather than actual evidence. Additionally this calculation is not approved by any moderator, and the video for the time frame of the feat is gone too.

Here's a replacement:
Baseline: Superhuman (Even while injured Big Boss can outrun great danes which run at 30 mph)
Likely: Subsonic (Snake caught up to Ray and put a transmitter on it) Ray is likely Subsonic

Currently all non-mgrr/mech profiles scale to each other in travel speed so they should all be Superhuman, likely Subsonic.

Next is blade mode, it should be noted that Blade Mode only increases the combat speed of the user not the travel speed, in-fact the user cannot run while using it. It should also be a variable rating since it can increase from 2 to 10 times under certain circumstances, like if the enemy is weakened or if they're under the influence of Ripper Mode.

Raiden:
Speed: Massively Hypersonic+ (Casually hopscotched missiles), Varies; Sub-Relativistic, up to Sub-Relativistic+ combat speed with Blade Mode (Increases his speed by 2 to 10 times) | Sub-Relativistic (Comparable to Jetstream Sam. Faster than Armstrong and capable of dodging punches from him at close range), Varies; higher, up to Relativistic combat speed with Blade Mode and permanently with Ripper Mode (Wielding Blade Mode while in Ripper Mode increases Raiden's speed by ten times)

Jetstream Sam:
Speed: Sub-Relativistic (Capable of casually overwhelming Raiden in his Patriots Body to the point where he couldn't keep up despite his Blade Mode. Superior to Armstrong and comparable to Raiden's Custom Body), Varies; higher, up to Relativistic combat speed with Blade Mode (Should be comparable to Raiden's as it functions much the same way, which increases his speed from 2 to 10 times), higher with Quick Draw (Cut off Raiden's arm before he could react, severed Armstrong's arm before his nanomachines could fully harden it, something that Raiden and Sam's Blade Modes aren't fast enough to do)
 
On the other hand, i guess i agree with the removal of Supersonic+, i'd imagine he ran a few kilometers given the appearance of the explosion, but probably not 20.

Although i actually know where the 20 km figure came from, hold on.

Edit: 20 km figure comes from this. Meaning in order to escape, Snake climbed 100 floors worth of ladders and ran a bunch. The entire thing happens under 300 seconds (or i'm looking at the timer the wrong way), i'd say he could probably be Subsonic or above given the feat.

Not being able to run is 100% just gameplay slop, all Blade Mode is, is being focused.
We see him jump, do acrobatics, move in bursts, which he can't do in gameplay but can in animations while in Blade Mode, and even Sam can actively dash in it.
As long as he's focused, he can do so and the whole flipping around and Sam sets precedence that the limits shouldn't be taken at face value given it isn't even consistent in the gameplay itself.

If we're looking for speed feats, why not this one? Old Snake and Ocelot move back and forth having an entire fight while the thrown cigar is still in the air.

That isn't movement speed.
Combat speed/reactions we already have the best stuff calced, they're like MHS. That feat is only like subsonic.
 
Actually, where does Ray being Subsonic even come from? At first I thought it's because it was superior to the Shagohod that can hit 300 MPH but looking at the profile there's no justification.

I'm pretty sure it has a stated swim value somewhere but eh, Outer Haven is 40 knots which is 74kmh and RAY can keep up with that iirc. It can also keep up with REX. And Arsenal Gear has a speed that can be calced that RAY would scale to.
also thinking on it, the outer heaven calc is legit, it's just a outlier, we're told how big that area is, we're told the timeframe that snake has to escape, and we know it was blown to high hell due to that bomb because we're told in later games, aka snake kinda had to clear that 20km in that timeframe for the scene to play out as it did and not die.
 
Blade Mode stuff has been discussed above, but I'm fine with downgrading the movement speed.
