Warhammer 40K Discussion

What is the wiki's stance on Primaris and Tyranids potentially getting attack power upgrades because of Space Marine 2, there's something I've seen which might be 8c at least or higher in the new early gameplay that's come out now.
 
Anyone play the new game here, it's really fun and is going to have continuous updates for a while with it's roadmap.
 
Does anyone even follow this thread?

I've been playing the Rogue Trader game, it's my first serious contact with the franchise, and I'm curious if anyone here has ever played and wishes to assist me in indexing the game? Especially now that a DLC is coming up.

It's really fun, even someone as ignorant as me when it comes to Warhammer can understand a good 80-90% of what's happening. Also it's a pretty good RPG in general.

I think the cast should be around Tier 8 since they can defeat a Chaos Marine in the prologue and a few dozens chaos demons in the rest of the game. Speed wise they can dodge bolters and las guns in point-blank. LS-wise... they can parry attacks from Chaos Marines, so they should scale too?
 
There might be a speed upgrade with the Lictor moving either around or faster than a bolter round.

Hive Tyrant getting a huge statue dropped on it could be higher than 8C.

Cheers for looking at it, also don't think the Lictor is anything worth looking at after a repeat watch of the scene.
I don't know much about 40k, would you lot say a Lord of Change is similar in strength to its fantasy counterpart or are they completely different things?
I can't find a 40k profile for it, so I don't really know where it stands power wise.
 
What book should I read to introduce myself to the franchise? The game space Marines 2 has me interested.

Eisenhorn is always a good start to learn of the broader Warhammer 40,000 setting. Suppose you're interested in space marines specifically though. In that case, I'd recommend watching some introductory videos to the lore surrounding them and their relation to the Imperium first to get some general knowledge. Then I'd highly recommend reading either the Ultramarines Omnibus or the Space Wolves Omnibus. Both have some of the best main characters in the entire Warhammer mythos imo.

After playing Rogue Trader, I've decided to buy the Dawn of War pack, and for now, the factions I'm interested most are:

1: Astra Militarum (Especially the Kriegsman)
2: Tau Empire
3: Orks.

Funny enough, I'm not really interested in the Space Marines, even when they are the most explored faction.
 
Anyone watch the Space Marine 2 continuation in Secret Level, the Astartes guy was involved in it and it shows, really cool animations.
Nice feat towards the end too for Titus.
 
Hello guys, I am new to the franchise and I have a question in regard of some warhammer 40K profiles ,
In sanguinius profile is stated that he’s solar system level for fighting against Madail Undivided whose death caused the total collapse of a space fortress
In the profile of Lion el Jonson is stated that he harmed madail the undivided , so why isn’t he solar system level too ? There is a reason about it ?

Hello I have a question what's the city block calc that the primarchs scale to?

Because they're just scaling to each other without the origin of the scaling being mentioned
