More indication of this being related to the Demon Realm. 'Daima' is meant to be something like 'Evil' in English according to Toriyama.

If the child stuff is just for mild gags early on, the Demon Realm plot is taken seriously and Goku gets a form that turns him into an adult (like SS4) then it should be overall good.

Exactly. It's why I steer clear from it, especially on this site when it comes to scaling. I'm planning to ignore the toxicity that will come with the new scaling for this series.

I'm actually interested in seeing how well they handle the hand to hand fighting. I hope it's DB levels of good or even better. The DQ Dai mention fills me with joy, it should be illegal how underrated that series was, and the animators for that series genuinely popped off a lot of the time.

I wonder in what way JJK and Demon Slayer inspired Daima. Did they inspire the plot? The combat? A fusion of both? Who knows. Just gonna have to wait and see then.

All I know is that I'm likely gonna have a good time watching the show while a majority of the fandom will bitch and moan like crazy.

The DQ Dai mention fills me with joy, it should be illegal how underrated that series was, and the animators for that series genuinely popped off a lot of the time.

Just real quick, I hate Crunchyroll for doing little to nothing to advertise the series during it's runtime. It was well within their power to do so, yet they ******* didn't. It makes it even more frustrating when they advertise some series that just...you know what, I'll stop myself, I'm not gonna slander other series. It's just really frustrating how the Dai Anime marketing was handled in the western side of things.
